I guess something like “Sassy Regina. We gotta have sassy Regina, everyone loves her”. But it just seems like she is being a jerk to Emma by calling her stupid and to her loved ones by insulting them. I like her sass, but there are times that that just doesn’t work.

I think that’s just who Regina is….she hasn’t learned to show “proper gratefulness”, (she still can’t even just say thank you to Robin Hood) but shows it through other means with sass. And plus she knows she’s trapped in a position that she owes Emma, and Regina owing(willingly) someone else is really rare. I think only Henry gets that proper gratefulness.
“…rode off on a unicorn…” Only two minutes in, and Regina already has me ROFL!

Like how if a child does something dangerous but is fine, their parent is all “How could you be so stupid?!” whilst still being glad they’re okay at the same time.
Also it could be suggested that Regina doesn’t see herself as someone that is worth being sacrificed for. She will sacrifice herself to save others like Henry but she doesn’t expect anyone to sacrifice themselves for her hence “how could she be so stupid?”

"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"August 16, 2015 at 7:38 pm #307226hjbauParticipantI think Regina was scared, so she got angry. She said “I know” when Snow said Emma saved her life. So i think she does know. I think anger when someone you care about does something that hurts themselves to save you is a very normal thing. The idea that Regina actually cares about Emma seems stupid to me in light of how she treats her some of the time and how she ruined her life. But it’s what happened on the show.

re: Regina. I think its also important to realize that Regina wasn’t with everyone else when the Darkness left Rumple and killed the Apprentice. She clearly knows its dangerous, but she doesn’t have all of the information everyone else in the scene has. So for her, there could have been another way and what Emma did WAS stupid and reckless.

She may not have been with them, but she does have an idea about how dangerous the Dark One is when he has no human host, considering Rumple had warned about it in the episode entitled Mother. If anything I think she is feeling surprised and with a mix of guilt, considering she knowing left Rumple knowing the dangerous of what could occur if darkness where to consume his heart.
