Yeah, but she didn’t call herself Emma Swan, she called herself the Dark One. That distinction tells us which part of Emma is dominant now and that part can’t ever be trusted because it will always have ulterior motives. That is how I interpret it anyway. I may be wrong.
This exactly!!! Regina knows that Emma is still in there somewhere, but she also knows that the Dark One has completely taken over and poses a serious threat. However, even if that wasn’t the case, I don’t really see any harm in Regina saying Henry is “her” son now is just like whenever Emma said Henry was “her” son in Season 3 & 4. They still recognize each other as his mother nonetheless.
Amazing how much I love this scene though….it’s like a perfect flip from Season 1 & 2 days only Emma is Regina and Regina is Emma! Henry chanting Emma’s name reminded me of one of those old horror movies where you chant the person’s name three times and they appear! And I just wonder what in the heck happened in Camelot???!!!
And JMo, I didn’t think she had it in her, but sweet Oz she is playing this villain role! This Dark One Arc may prove to be one of OUAT’s most interest arc if JMo keeps this up!
Oh and what Emma means by she learned from Regina was the fact that the only reason Regina’s curse was broken was because there was a Savior in the mix….Emma learned from Regina’s failure, and made sure to make her’s different by erasing the Savior out of the picture, thus making her’s almost unbreakable.

Keeper Of Tamara's Taser , Jafar's Staff, Kitsis’s Glasses , Ariel’s Tail, Dopey's Hat , Peter Pan’s Shadow, Outfit, & Pied Cloak,Red Queen's Castle, White Rabbit's Power To World Hop, Zelena's BroomStick, & ALL MAGICI agree with the people saying that Regina is talking to “The Dark One” and not Emma, now normally I myself would raise a eyebrow at character regression given this show, but I think under the circumstances it works, Emma isn’t Emma she’s “The Dark One” and yes we can go over multiple hypothesis of whether or not The host and The Dark One are the same or individuals but in this sense I think they wanna keep the entities separate and it’s not Regina being all possessive again.
I agree with the assessment that Emma Swan is daring Regina to become the new savior. As the new dark one, Emma needs Regina to take up the hero mantel in order to save Emma from the dark one curse. It’s all about bringing balance to the force of magic: light magic to counteract dark magic. We’ve seen Regina use light magic and had heroine blood in the AU. As cheesy as it sounds, it’s time for Regina to embrace the light fully, no holding back.

What was wrong with them telling them Emm was both savior and dark one. He JUST said Merlin was never wrong, so Emma will free the guy. Maybe they could have been able to help.

Yeah that’s a good question. Arthur clearly believes in what Merlin says and already believes Emma can do the thing; telling them that Emma is the Savior will only add to his belief. The Dark One thing might concern him, but, again, he’s already on Team #MerlinNeverLies
