After receiving a cryptic warning from Lancelot about Arthur’s intentions, Mary Margaret realizes Arthur may be the heroes’ biggest threat, but when she is unable to convince David of the danger, she takes matters into her own hands. Meanwhile, Hook’s unwavering love for Emma provides a glimmer of hope in her struggle against the unrelenting voice of Rumplestiltskin. In a Camelot flashback, Guinevere senses that Arthur is losing his way, consumed by his obsession with making Excalibur whole, so she sets out with Lancelot on her own quest into the heart of darkness. In Storybrooke, Dark Emma unleashes a secret weapon in the next phase of her plan to find the brave soul she needs to draw Excalibur from the stone, on “Once Upon a Time,” SUNDAY, OCTOBER 18 (8:00-9:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.

Hook’s unwavering love for Emma provides a glimmer of hope in her struggle against the unrelenting voice of Rumplestiltskin.

Hook’s “love” for Emma certainly wasn’t “unwavering” last episode.

In a Camelot flashback, Guinevere senses that Arthur is losing his way, consumed by his obsession with making Excalibur whole, so she sets out with Lancelot on her own quest into the heart of darkness.

Perhaps this is what caused Lancelot to be cast out of Camelot if Arthur thought he had deliberately put Guinevere in danger and Guinevere didn’t deny it. Guinevere is starting to sound a lot more shady than Arthur.

All magic comes with a price!

I’ve been suspecting for a while that perhaps Guinevere and Lancelot never had a real love affair, and that was just a cover up that Arthur gave for Lancelot’s “fall from grace.” Arthur’s keen on making sure that his subjects don’t know about Excalibur missing its tip.

Lancelot is going to die, isn’t he?

ETA: also, my goodness that is a lot of plot

Not so sure he’ll die this episode, because he was apparently seen filming for 505 and 506 as well:

That last photo looks flashback, though? Hook’s outfit is “fancy pirate”

Yeah, but I assume you meant that Lancelot dies during those 6 weeks, and so far all of the 6 weeks flashbacks have been in chronological order. If Lancelot is also in 505 and 506 flashbacks from that time period, then that would mean that he lives past 504.

I think Hook wears this outfit in the next episode.

Ah yes, I should have been more clear. Let’s just say more general “he’s gonna die!”
