I think Emma DID order Belle’s death, but I also think that Belle will survive.

This Dark Swan is darker than we gave her credit for, I half expected them to white wash her crimes simply because she was still technically the Savior and can’t afford her sins to be on Dark One Rumple, Evil Queen Regina, and  The Captain Hook level….now that I think about it, she’s the only one out of the trio of evil, well there’s Hook, to actually attempt to kill Belle!

I can’t wait to see how Rumple reacts to this!

Well yeah. Belle’s not gonna die. But the promo is going to make it look like she will

(yes, Matt, I remember the promo for 315, all my rationalizing and the outcome)

Well in Belle’s case, it helps that we know from filming reports that she’s still around. Most recently she was spotted filming Storybrooke scenes in 510.

But there’s still the question remaining…whose the Bear?? Merida??

Knowing this show, they’ve made Merida their stand in for Mordu

While I’m certainly not about to complain about a Rumbelle-centric episode, the Discovery Channel crossover, combined with that ridiculous beyond-the-grave voiceover about Rumple’s greatest fear is kind of comedy gold.

Then again, I guess it’s Halloween week-end, so I maybe OUAT is doing a more horror-esque aesthetic. I mean, bears ARE terrifying. But the preview is making it all look pretty darn silly.

What if the bear is Arthur? Rain in the initial reactions feedback for Dreamcatcher mentions the meaning behind Arthur’s name is Bear – (a bit of Googling found: the name Arthur (Artorius) could be derived from the Celtic elements “artos” = bear combined with “viros” = man and “orrigos” = king).  Which would make King Arthur the bear man king, and if you link it to Brave it could possibly make him Mor’du and Camelot the broken kingdom would be the kingdom that fell to ruins because Mor’du’s selfishness/greediness

It does……which is why OUAT probably won’t go that route.
