I may have issues with the inconsistencies and plot holes, but this is the type of Hook that I actually find entertaining.

Colin looks like he’s enjoying playing DO Hook immensely and DO Hook might actually be more entertaining than whiny Emma Emma Emma Hook.
The Milah mention was interesting for two reasons. 1. It’ actually a nod to continuity, something that has become a rare occurrence on the show nowadays. 2. It actually shows that Hook still isn’t really over Milah. How can Hook truly move on with Emma when he’s still hung up on Milah?

Ummm, Rumpel didn’t fill Emma with the darkness. She took the darkness upon herself first of all. And then she deliberately let it consume her to save you Hook…..

He doesn’t take into account that from Rumple’s perspective, Hook broke up his family and took his wife & the mother of his child (yes, Milah made that choice, but that’s how Rumple has expressed it–he’s not free of bias either). The blame game between those two has gone on centuries and neither accepts that the other even COULD have good reasons for what they’ve done–not that either has often been heroic in their choices.
