There’s a cut in between scenes in the Youtube video below (About 1:06 in). It seems like they’re placing the new flashback inbetween where Regina reveals Hook her plans, but before she enchants his hook. Clearly these scenes were written/filmed as if they were happening back to back, because Regina is wearing the same outfit in both and she’s holding onto Hook’s hook. The writers are inserting these new flashbacks where they see fit :

I agree. Regina was much to touchy-feely in that clip for just a “business” relationship. However, there shouldn’t be time considering the season 2 flashbacks. Regina was definitely flaunting her assets to Hook in that clip.

Hah. And if it weren’t OUAT, I’d agree with you. But this is OUAT, and on this show, woman acting “sexy” = woman EVIL! The showrunners are saying: “This is EQ Regina, look how evil she is, she’s flirting!” (cue in the appalled hissing) You know, just in case the dress and hairdo didn’t give it away. 😀

Indeed! Wow, that is some shoe horning. They could at least be wearing the same outfits. But I guess that’s why Hook remarks it took Regina a long time to do her hair.

This is one of those cases when the writers make their lives more difficult than it needs to be. Unless the blue dress (still my favorite EQ dress, bummed I’m not going to see it again) has been torn apart and is currently another frock, then all they need to do is have Regina wear the blue outfit out in the field meeting Hook and it wouldn’t feel so forced and shoe-horned in.

What’s weird is that Lana DID film in that blue outfit during the time this episode was filmed, so perhaps there is a scene bridging the two sets of flashbacks?:
