That is the thing, is episode 100 for who? Only for Adam, but even he knows the truth and please dont come and talk about episode codes that abc may have or not, Blu ray and DVD made by ABC clearly states S4 had 23 episodes, outside US, most of the channels that air OUAT, say S4 had 23 episodes and aired 23 episodes during 23 weeks, that means that for all intends episode 100 was 511 and ABC knows that, reason why they also dont want to cause many buzz with being 100, but i also doesnt understand why they so bad want to pass episode 512 as the 100th episode, why would be a problem if was stated that was 511, also they will have the party now when they are filming 520, when most of shows when reach 100 episodes, do parties when they are filming the episode not like 2 weeks before the episode is airing, so this is the most buzz in promotion they will have and i think ABC knows that these guest stars are not enough to cause buzz and bring viewers, now if this was the arc of Frozen ,that would have some major promos by now, bc they know those would call viewers.
Actually, ABC’s press release for 512 mentions it being “the 100th episode of Once Upon a Time.”

Yes, Adam speaks on some codes of production made by ABC, but the network and adam know that episode 100 was in reality 511 and not 512 and just bc they say it doesnt make it true, when there are proof of the opposite and this is not even made by me, is actually by them, they have a bluray made by them that says S4 had 23 episodes and not 21 episodes and a speacial episode of 2 hours and outside US, s4 had 23 episodes, so while may be epi 100 in US( bc of codes) is not epi 100 outside Us.
But moving on bc this is not really the subject of this thread i believe, is about promotion, which i said will probably be the red carpet thing, the kick off for the promotion of 5B arc.

Marketing reasons.
I agree, abc still labels s4 episodes as if STM were two episodes with different number in their official website. If s5 hadn’t gotten an extra episode and 511 had been the spring premiere, it would have been the 100th episode and not 512.

I think you’re mistaking what I was saying. ABC themselves referred to 512 as “the 100th episode” in their own press release. The header even takes it further by saying “Special 100th episode.” So it is not just Adam and Eddy referring to it as such, but now ABC too.
MIDSEASON PREMIERE
AFTER HOOK SACRIFICES HIMSELF TO SAVE STORYBROOKE, THE HEROES FOLLOW HIM TO THE UNDERWORLD WHERE THEY ENCOUNTER FACES FROM THEIR PAST, ON ABC’S SPECIAL 100th EPISODE OF “ONCE UPON A TIME”
Greg Germann Guest Stars as Hades, Barbara Hershey as Cora, Robbie Kay as Peter Pan, Tony Perez as Valet and Giancarlo Esposito as Sidney Glass/Magic Mirror
“Souls of the Departed” — Emma, Regina, Mary Margaret, David, Robin, Henry and Gold arrive in the Underworld, on a mission to rescue Hook, only to discover that their search will be more difficult than they had anticipated. The inhabitants of the Underworld—all souls with unfinished business and many with quite personal vendettas—hound our heroes at every turn. Meanwhile, in an Enchanted Forest flashback, a familiar face from the Evil Queen’s past returns to present Regina with the perfect birthday gift, on the 100th episode of “Once Upon a Time,” SUNDAY, MARCH 6 (8:00-9:00 p.m. EST) on the ABC Television Network.

I read what u said you were the one that didnt understood what i said, which was just bc they said it doesnt mean is true, episode 512 is not in reality of the show the episode 100, is for Adam and ABc for like @BarFarer said marketing reasons and since you are more in touch with the show ,you know that episode 511 was in reality epi 100, that was why last year Adam said they got another episode, so means S4 had 23 episodes and why at the begining of the season he said S5A would had 10 episodes and S5B would have 11, meaning episode 511 would be episode 100 and the premiere of S5B, and then after they got one extra on 5A they started saying S4 had 21 epis with one episode being 2 hours, i believe that makes 22 and not 23 like says in the bluray for s4, so using canon ABC info about episodes in terms of DVD`s and appears like @Bar said they also have diferent code numbers, if we do basic math, 22epis( S1)+22(S2)+22( s3)+ 23(S4)+11(S5A) makes 100 on episode 511, so this is what im talking about. Like i said and repeat just bc Adam and ABc say one thing for marketing reasons, doesnt mean they are right and once again we are leaving the theme of the thread that is to talk about promo of the show, which i once again say is the red carpet party.

Interesting. For what it’s worth, I’ve been watching ABC since 8pm tonight—no OUAT promos at during TGIT (ABC’s biggest night)

February 18, 2016 at 10:45 pm #317168MatthewPaulModeratorI also watched ABC all Tuesday night, and I believe I only caught the same 15 second promo once during the 2nd hour of Agent Carter. I bet the new promo that’s on ABC’s site airs during the Disneyland 60 special this Sunday. You would think that they’re would air a OUAT promo the same day of the week the show airs, and it’ll then only be 2 weeks away from returning.
