O_o
Because calling it by its Greek name would be overkill after “the Underworld” “Hades” “Olympus” “Hercules” “Cerberus” and “Megera”??
Gold is suddenly eager to help Emma, Snow, David, Regina, Robin and Henry find Hook so he can return home to Belle; but in order to do so, he must find his ex-wife Milah in the Underworld and ask for her help
Because Milah’s unfinished business is Rumple/Nealfire? So he has to help her move on so he can go home?
In Fairy Tale Land flashbacks, Rumple and Milah face a life-or-death crisis concerning their son, Baelfire, that forces Rumple to make a deal that will haunt him,
Haunt him so much that we’ve never heard of it!!
Dean Petriw as Young Baelfire,
Understandable given that Dylan is now waaaay told old. But 🙁 Dylan

This flashback takes place before Milah left with Hook, and even back in “The Crocodile”, a different kid other than Dylan played Young Baelfire (Sebastian Wilkinson). “The Crocodile” was filmed 3-4 years ago, so Sebastian was probably too old to return as well.

I wonder what might haunt him for an entire episode all of a sudden that we never realized before.
This is starting to get tedious, it will be the fourth episode in a row with flashbacks that start with point A and end with point A with relevance only for this current episode.

March 14, 2016 at 2:59 pm #319052RumplesGirlKeymasterSooo if it’s life or death, I’m guessing that Bae was really sick and Rumple made a deal with the devil to save his son? But for what price? It’s not like he agreed to be the Dark One at some point down the road, right? Doesn’t that rob “A Desperate Soul” of all its weight? Funny how this has never come up once–does that mean that Nealfire never knew? Golly, that sounds like unfinished business to me!
(if Rumple goes this entire episode without wondering about his son in present day, Imma need a table) (especially with Milah there)
"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"March 14, 2016 at 3:00 pm #319053RainbowParticipantLet me guess, Bae/Neal was dying but Rumple made his first deal to save his son life and he used magic to save him when Bae was supposed to die, there explaining why he thought Bae would die if he went to war, and some how Bae/Neal soul was always “sold” to the gods, meaning the death would colect his soul when the gods wanted.
I know this makes no sense, but is OUAT so in a way makes sense."I offended you with my opinion? Ha, you should hear the ones I keep to myself".

Whatever they do, I’m sure it’ll be a huge retcon in order to give Neal’s death more legitimacy.

I think it is Fendrake the Healer that Rumple will make a deal with in the flashback. Here’s my theory: Rumple made a deal with Frendrake to save Bae’s life, but at a steep price. The cost is that if Bae dies later on down the line, his death could never be undone. Hence why Neal apparently has no unfinished business and is in Olympus, even though he should have unfinished business with his son and Emma. That would be the writers’ ultimate way of saying that he’ll never be resurrected.

So Hades has nothing to do with it at all? That would be interesting (and a bit of a subversion of how most of these deals tend to go). And it does give more to Rumple’s serious overprotectiveness toward Bae both before and after he became the D.O.
You’re on to something. Now stop giving them ideas.
