I’m just really excited for more Rumple-Baelfire interaction. We haven’t had an episode about them since 3×4 Nasty Habits.

Considering the episode title is the Devil’s Due, it’s got to be a deal Rumple made with Hades. That being said, Matt’s Theory is incredibly interesting and would make sense. I’m excited about this episode. I liked the 100th well enough, but last week’s was just meh to me (mostly due to my disappointment in Meg). I really like that we are going to get more pre-dark one rumple back story and am excited to see Milah again.

    Me too, me too!

Also, does this mean we’re going to FINALLY get the Emma/Milah/Hook reveal? Because if not, there won’t be enough tables to flip.

So Hades has nothing to do with it at all? That would be interesting (and a bit of a subversion of how most of these deals tend to go). And it does give more to Rumple’s serious overprotectiveness toward Bae both before and after he became the D.O.

You’re on to something. Now stop giving them ideas.

Not sure. This would also be a way to explain why Rumple never tried seeking ways to bring Neal back after he died, if he already knew that it was undo-able. Though Rumple did previously insist that “dead is dead” in general on a few occasions, so something would still be off about it.

If Matt’s theory is right, then it does raise the question of how a healer could make such a deal. Unless he’s working for Hades.

Something else to note: Leroy and Granny are also credited in the press release. Does this mean that we could be seeing present day Storybrooke again sooner than anticipated? Would be nice if it means Belle is in the episode, too.

I’m guessing Rumple sees Belle–who is at Granny’s having lunch with Leroy or something–in his little crystal ball? Maybe something happens that makes Rumple adamant that he must get home, so he turns his crystal ball to Milah

Who wants to bet that Hades tells Rumple that Belle is pregnant and is hades that will bring Belle to UW on 516? And that is what makes him want to go back to Belle?

This is the first time Jane has written a Rumple heavy episode in a very long time, which I guess would be “The Miller’s Daughter”.

Because Milah’s unfinished business is Rumple/Nealfire? So he has to help her move on so he can go home?

This isn’t beyond the realm of possibility. She may regret the way in which she left them aka Letting Rumple think she was going to be gang-raped by a bunch of pirates.
