So there are actually archways showing the names of two of the rivers.
Looks like Styx is the blue river and Cocytus is the grey river. I’m guessing the green river, which Hades nicknames “The River of Lost Souls”, is Lethe. Hades mentions how once Hook touches the river, it will make him lost, reducing him to a mindless, tormented husk. That certainly sounds like the river of forgetfulness to me! I just hope that Hook doesn’t end up touching it, spiraling into an amnesia Hook storyline…Dear God…that’s where they’re going with this aren’t they? Amnesia Hook who forgets all of his sins and becomes the good hearted saint of the show from now on…

Pretty sure he’s actually say “4 to 5 of you”, but plenty are mishearing it. Guess it’s due to the way Bobby is delivering the line, and “4 to 5” sounds similar to “45”.

Even if Gold does say “4 to 5” there are six of them, not counting Gold himself. Nor would it make any sense to say “all 4 to 5 of you.” It’s like saying “Exactly approximately four of you.” It’s been a long day, so… am I missing something?
Unless this is Gold being sarcastic about the dearth of numbers they’re bringing to storm Hades’s living room, and 45 reflects some sort of additional knowledge we’re not privy to here? Say, there are 45 guards or something, and that’s why they’re collecting arrows at the beginning? I’m so confused.

Oh it absolutely is. It’s actually more like hand wave, hand wave, mumbo jumbo, distraction, shiny shiny shiny….Milah!
But it’s so utterly stupid and senseless that when Emma parrots it back to him, I had to laugh for a good long while.
As for the river/Hook thing:
If Hook gets his sins washed away by forgetting them with the help of Lethe, there will not be enough tables for me to flip. It’s the equivalent of hat-sucking Rumple. Only we all know that Hook won’t revert back to his bad boy ways. He’ll be the most perfect soul in existence forevermore.
