Here’s our Zeus. Not quite what I expected:
I don’t know about that:
Oh, Zeus…

It’s still lying by omission.
Agreed. Hades even lied to Zelena that the rest of them would get to the portal on time, when he was under the impression that they’d be trapped in the Underworld thanks to his trickery.

Actually this is kind of a weird plot point (I agree on lying by omission, but like the Big Rumbelle debacle and that debate, I’m not sure what to call it to give it its full weight because he never said he was a better man or that he was now a hero who gave up his carefully laid out plans established in 519 unlike Rumple who was a better man and failed to announce his change of circumstances)….but how did Hades even know they’d go back into the library? They all went outside for Henry to do this Author thing. Had they all stayed outside, fought off Cruella and the Blind Witch, or just gone to the cemetery and nothing changed with Hook and Emma, the end result is the same–everyone gets to the portal (except Hook but there are other reasons for that) and get to go home. So it’s lying by omission (that he had other plans in place) but it’s like there’s an element of free will there. And everyone *did* make it.
Still not saying it’s good or that he didn’t do a horrible thing. It’s a problem with language I guess. Probably doesn’t matter. He (and the ‘ship) are clearly over after this episode
Didn’t Hades tell Zelena that he was over the whole revenge against his brother thing and he just wanted to be with her and the baby? That was a lie.
Hey, a completely new motivation for Hades because why not? His character is all over the place, what does he even want?!?
"All your questions are pointless"
King Arthur again…finally. So they haven’t forgotten about the SB is the new Camelot plot afterall. He will probably come in at the end of the ep and we will see the Camelot plot wrapped up in ep 22 and 23.
Meanwhile, I hope that that dwarf gets saved from being a tree.

We have been told he wants revenge on his brother Zeus. But we also know he does love Zelena. So the man is torn. And while in the UW, his goal was to try and keep everyone down there so they wouldn’t be able to thwart whatever plan he has once he gets back to storybrooke, which he said was to basically take it over and give Zelena what she always wanted.
So he wants revenge on Zeus so that he’ll be happy, he wants to rule storybrooke with Zelena so Zelena will be happy, and he wanted to keep the heroes down in the UW so they couldn’t intervene. Three motivations. Really not as all over the place as you are making it out to be. But yes, it has been a little challenging to figure out his true intentions because that’s the way the writers have been playing it. We are supposed to be unsure of where his true intentions lie. I think one of the brightest spots this half season has been Hades, so I definitely disagree with most of what you are saying.
