I just caught a glimpse of hope….
The Author Isaac once told Regina last season that someone must be looking out for her, what if that person turns out to be Zeus, whose been sort of watching over Regina this entire time???!!!! What if Regina ends up making a deal with Zeus in order to bring back Robin Hood?

I dunno. I sorta think that either 1) Isaac was talking outta his backside OR 2) The writers were making a meta joke and didn’t really have anything in mind other than themselves (A and E)

I’m going to say you’re reading them correctly; moreover, it almost looks like Hook gets resurrected as a result of Robin’s death in a life-for-a-life trade.

but….that shoulndt work. Hook is dead. And RH dies, then hes dead too. And plus RH was already supposed to be dead as it is… Idk. I don’t think a trade would work in this case unless it was with a person who was alive and hasn’t died.
But what do I know. Might be a magic full moon that brings people back from the dead this episode.

I don’t see Hook in the crowd scenes, so maybe his appearance is a vision, a spiritual message for Emma to not make the same mistake that Buffy’s friends made. He seems to arrive after the crowd has left, when Emma is about to attempt secret glowy-hand resurrection magic. She then seems to realize that she almost did something terrible. (And then they kiss, which kind of spoils the whole epiphany, but that’s OUAT.)

I wouldn’t mind if Regina aligns with Rumple once again to take care of the series ultimate big bad of the series Emma Swan, who ironically calls herself “The Savior” because her job is not to save anyone, her misogynistic boyfriend, who has to make it all about him and her herocrytes parents.
Someone needs to do something about it otherwise people will continue to suffer and die and it can’t be allowed so let Regina aka the real Savior take care of her because enough is enough

Well, the way I was imagining it was that RH gets murdered and then someone tries to pull that card, as in “Hey, RH died a few hours ago…but hades can we make a swap?” Like, I don’t think that would work. But idk, for a switch to happen it sseems like it would have to be intentional, and I doubt RH is going to give up his life willingly knowing hes got two kids. But eh, who knows.
