    Yeah it is understanding that they couldn’t get the actress, so some woman stands in and doesn’t say anything or something, maybe with her back turned before they go into the portal with Merida.

    As far as magic in SB, ever since Gold brought magic to storybrooke in season 2, it’s had magic.  The well has magic, hell there was a portal that opened in the pond to the UW.  There is still the town line….and all the fairies still have magic.  Plus all the magical trinkets in Gold’s shop.  Since season 2, storybrooke has always been a town with magic, in a land without magic.
