I totally know what you mean DO, however I think it’s slightly different in that Rumple’s not dead. Crack theory: that’s not the real Rumple or even his consciousness, that’s the darkness taking Rumple’s form kind of like the first evil in Buffy.

Also Zelena throws Hook against the wall with her magic! Whilst this is probably when Zelena escapes her cell, why is Hook there in the first place? What was he trying to do that backfired on him? (if you pause the video, you can see it’s not Colin that hits the wall)

I think after figuring out Emma is in Camelot, Hook tries to get the gsng to open a portal to follow her there but for whatever reason they refuse so he goes to Zelena and offers to set her free in exchange for a portal.
And of course she betrays him.

Probably trying to make some sort of deal with Zelena to get the Witch to take him to Emma or something.

A&E have said that being a child of TL is special, but that it does not automatically mean one has magic–nor do you need to be a child of true love to have magic. Plenty of examples of the latter around, including both Zelena and Regina. It’s implied that Aurora is a child of True Love, as must be Phillip Jr., but there’s no signs either of them has magic. It’s also hinted that Leo truly loved Eva, so Snow might be a child of TL too…but that’s speculation on my part.

Also A&E are not…always consistent with their rules.

I’m not sure if it worked both ways. She definitely put a protection spell over the door during Mother.

But then again Zelena was born with magic so I could believe its genetic if they say so.

That’s my take on it. That Zelena was powerful from the start and so is her baby. I have a theory about other spoilers that might hint to the baby making choices without Zelena’s awareness. But we shall see in a few weeks. (Which…is super exciting) 

First borns have a certain heightened power source on this show, so that might explain some things as well.

I think Sweets is probably right; it’s the baby not Zelena. Which means that the baby will likely become the biggest plot point of 5B–alongside Zelena’s “redemption” through motherhood.
