Hmmm… Well Rumpel was greenish brownish goldish, wore leather, was pretty shady and confident. While Gold was calm, normal looking and walked with a pimp limp and cane. Henry…just must not have pieced two and two together because they were so different personaility wise. I think that is one of the reasons people don’t connect Clark Kent to Superman even though he only wears glasses. I feel like I read that somewhere. Also, the book may not have Rumps story. It probably just has Belle’s and Rump is probably only pictured once.
Idk. Ya know what I also didn’t think we got an answer too? Why did the book only appear to Snow White? It happened twice… I thought that meant something but apparently not….

He was 11 in season 1, 12 in season 2 when Emma and Snow got back from the EF when Cora was running amok Then you’ve got the missing year plus season 4 so it makes sense that he would be 13 now (though I wish they’d show birthdays on this show). Hopefully that means Emma will be 30 soon and they will actually show us that birthday.
Actually it is wrong time wise , Henry was 10 on S1( which makes no sense, bc for Emma to have 18 he would have to be born sometime in 2002), he was 11 on season 2( he said it on 214, that doesnt make sense, bc some say tha Henry birthday is 8th of august, so if he still had to have 10 on 214) and part of season 3 that is one, then plus one year, they get 2013 and frozen arc( that is supposed on early 2013) plus 6 weeks dark queens arc, plus 6 weeks camelot arc, Henry had to have 12 years, the only way he could have 13 years on 2013, was if he was born in 2000, making him 11 on pilot, 12 on 214, and making Emma 16 when he was born, or they are already in 2014, which makes no sense bc 12 weeks plus early 2013 doesnt make 2014, if they were spring 2013 and add 12 weeks they get june/july, which is also not the date that many people were saying about Henry birth date being in august( and by the way they all look they are still in winter not summer) meaning is case to ask, does anyone in that writer room actually knows the timeline or do they know how to do math? not to mention orther side things, like details, where previous state things, that were shown in past season, where the dreamcatcher was always with Neal and not with Emma, so no way he could have given it to her.
Neal and EMMA found the DREAM CATCHER in Tallahassee when they went in the hotel room after the family left. Emma found the dream catcher one of the kids had left and NEAL back peddle away from it saying it could be used for more than catching dreams. Later it was seen in his NY apartment.
Neal and Emma found the dreamcatcher on epi 206, and Emma explained what a dreamcatcher was to Neal. But again, was Rumple that said to emma on later season 2, to get the memories from Pongo that a dreamcatcher could be used to do more than just catch dreams, not Neal, every references bwt Neal and Emma about dreamctachers were always catching bad dreams and let the good ones in.

Sounds an awful lot like what Arthur has done to Guinevere, doesn’t it?

Maybe because the illustrations in my fairytale books were so sweet… but I always thought that PETER PETER put his wife in a pumpkin shaped house…. it had flowers, window boxes and white picket fence so I never thought of her as being enslaved or kept for drudgery. Men in the old days did not marry till they could provide a proper home…… all a different point of view.

I thought the same thing LOL
Children stories can be really creepy sometimes
Alright so about this episode. It was a great episode but I actually liked last week’s episode better. Probably because I’m a huge sucker for plot twists. Maybe that’s why I also liked Heart of Gold even though it was awful in every possible way.
Favorites:
1) It was nice the way that they referenced previous seasons, like a season doesn’t exist completely separately from everything that happened until now.
2) Henry and Violet are adorable as always.
3) I like the contrast between how the gang is working against Arthur in Camelot and with him in Storybrooke. It creates an opportunity for some interesting things.
4) I like how they use Granny’s in Camelot. Making it the place for Henry’s and Violet’s date was the perfect choice.
5) I liked how the pumpkin shop was connected to a fairytale. I didn’t know it until PriceofMagic said it. It really brings back the magic from season 1.
Mixed:
1) The Neal references were nice. But alright, so we got 15 times they mentioned Neal in one episode, and then what? Are they going to keep him and the loss of him relevant to the show and it’s characters?
2) I thought Henry’s and Emma’s adventure was kinda boring. Like “Mom help me find this horse that likes pumpkin seeds” “Oh look here’s a pumpkin shop I know for some reason” “Oh there’s the horse, thank you!”. But on the other hand I like all the manipulation from both Emma and Henry around the whole thing.
Least Favorites:
1) Last episode they set up Snow and Charming being under the spell of the magic sand as a big thing, maybe even the reason they failed Emma, and then 5 minutes into the episode Emma just comes and freezes them like “oh I saw it in a dreamcatcher off screen”. It was a little weird.
2) That 80s song was cute the first time but really? Again???
3) I feel like Emma is not a serious enough threat as the Dark One. Like so she took a girl’s heart and made her tell Henry she doesn’t want to date him. So what? I mean is that the horrible thing the spoilers said she’s going to do? She didn’t even kill anyone.
You know what I can't continue with the dead people brought back to life list I'm out of space in the signature and now we have an underworld arc this is to much I quit why do you bring so many people back to life OUAT WHHHYYYY

They probably have a few dates written down but they don’t go event-by-event paying attention to how much time the show actually portrays passing (and I think they get careless with their “yesterdays” and “chop the beanstalk down in 10 hours type things). So the timeline winds up being far more contracted when you go through the episodes back-to-back (partly because ACTION requires less downtime) than it feels when they’re writing/producing it.
So while mine attempts to document the time between events, theirs has more of a focus on the order of events. And they’re probably looking at big events rather than little stuff–they may not care whether Robin Hood came after or before the curtains scene. (I’ve given in, RG, it’s before.)
