I’ve heard a rumour that we will meet Rumple’s father in Once Upon a Time Season 3. Is this real? –OUAT Spain
This much is real: Episode 4, titled “Nasty Habits,” will serve up Rumple’s first backstory of the season. “We’ve hinted in the past that his father was a coward and that his father’s name was something that haunted him and that his father left him,” cocreator Eddy Kitis reminds. “He definitely seems to have [Daddy issues].”http://tvline.com/2013/09/26/castle-spoilers-beckett-returns-to-12th-precinct/

As a reminder to himself for being such a coward for letting go of Baelfire, Mr. Gold gave himself the same first name as his cowardly father.

I think you’re 100% right. Nice call.

Taken From http://tvsourcemagazine.com/2013/09/upon-time-season-3-premiere-preview-10-teasers-heart-truest-believer/Once Upon A Time Season 3 Premiere Preview: 10 Teasers From “Heart Of The Truest BelieverThe wait is almost over for fans of ABC’s fairy tale drama Once Upon a Time. We’ve only got a few days to go before the series returns for its third season and the network has already sent some magic in our direction in the form of an advanced screener.
We’ve seen “The Heart of the Truest Believer” and we loved every second of it (bonus: we’ve also seen the second episode of the new season “Lost Girl” and we’ll have more details on that next week). But in the meantime, we want to share some spoiler-y goodness with fellow fans or as much as we can without ABC putting a sleeping curse on us (although that doesn’t sound that bad).
Before we get into the premiere, let’s quickly rehash the season finale. Tamara and Greg (ugh, those guys) shot Neal, who fell through a portal to save Emma from the same fate. Not only that, but they snatched Henry and opened another portal to take them to Neverland where they plan to check in with their home office and further their quest to rid the world of magic.
Naturally, Emma was not going to let that stand and neither were her parents. Regina was also determined to save her son and Mr. Gold got into the mix because he was not about to let his son’s boy die, even though he knows Henry will lead to his own death. He left Belle in charge of Storybrooke and then boarded the Jolly Roger with the others and Hook took them through a portal – destination: Neverland.
The season premiere opens on the ship and as any regular viewer might guess, putting six people who all have various conflicts with one another (aka have threatened or tried to kill each other) on a closed-quartered ship might not be the easiest smoothest sailing (pun intended). One of the passengers bails pretty early with a plan of his own and the remaining five continue to bicker and punches are thrown lots of punches and it’s so much fun to watch).
Meanwhile, Neal has landed in the Enchanted Forest and after being away for so many years, it’s a safe bet that he’s not thrilled to be there. Mulan, Aurora and Prince Phillip are on hand to help. Naturally, they have questions, especially once they learn that was his original home. Aurora wants to help him get a message to Emma and offers to try and reach her in the altered state only people who have been under the sleeping curse can access, but will it work?
If all of that is not enough to get you super excited for the premiere, maybe the following nine teasers will to do the trick.
#1 There are mermaids in Neverland and they are not very nice people/fish. We know Ariel won’t arrive until episode six, but after watching these creatures in action, we’re even more intrigued by her upcoming arc. Bonus spoiler: Regina has a BAMF moment that we loved.
#2 Greg and Tamara arrive in Neverland and Henry is quick to point out some of the major flaws in their schemes. But they insist they know what they’re doing. Does anyone really believe that?
#3 Did we forget to mention the opening scene that flashes back 11 years? Jennifer Morrison knocks the scene out of the park. It’s totally normal to start crying before the title card, right? (It’s not just me…?)
#4 Speaking of the lovely Emma, ‘Captain Swan’ fans are in for a treat. You might have already seen the clip of Emma and Hook toasting to Neal, but there are some great moments to come that will have shippers flailing and squealing.
#5 What if you prefer ‘Swan Fire’, you ask? Don’t worry; Neal and Emma might be in different realms, but there are still a few moments that will have fans of this ship holding their hands over their hearts and swooning.
#6 If family drama is more your thing, there is plenty of that to go around too. Charming and Emma have a fantastic scene in the premiere and Snow and Emma do too, but fans will need to wait for episode two to see what might be our favorite Snow-Emma moment to date (tissue are required).
#7 We mentioned that Regina has a great BAMF moment and so does Mr. Gold. You’ve probably seen the clip where he goes toe to toe with one of Peter Pan’s lost boys, but there’s an even more satisfying moment in the episode that had us cheering for his ‘dark’ side.
#8 Speaking of dark sides, Peter Pan is so the villain of this story. He appears earlier than we were expecting him to and the most important thing to know about him is that he’s all about the mind games.
#9 Oh and did we mention Robin Hood was back? We were more than a little surprised at where he turned up…
September 27, 2013 at 9:27 am #212421HappyEndingsSpectatorCarollattufe: Anything you can say on Regina and her arc this season on Once Upon a Time? Will she be her sassy self this season? Will she have scenes with Snow in Neverland?
We love how curious you are, so we shall reward you with as much magical scoop as we can! Regina is pretty damn fierce in the first two episodes of season three, and she’s not holding back when it comes to using her powers. Fireballs? Yup! Casting someone in stone? You got it! The queen is ready to rescue her son, but she’s not fully ready to be working with the goody two-shoes Charming Family in order to do so. Oh and she does share a scene with Snow, but be warned, there’s some pretty intense hair-pulling.September 27, 2013 at 9:33 am #212423SlurpeezParticipantWhat can you tease about Once Upon a Time’s premiere? — Jessica
NATALIE: It’s very action-packed. There will be fighting — seriously, at least two people get punched in the face and it’s awesome — flying and betrayal. But before we get to Neverland, the third season of Once Upon a Time will pick up in the real world with since the beginning of the series. But manage your expectations: You won’t get the whole story about that moment until Episode 3×09.
I think that Snow will try to punch Regina, but David tries to block it, and accidentally gets punched in the face instead. Also, I think Hook and Charming could throw a punch at each other. Also, the opening scene of the season is Henry’s birth in 3×1 and that story will be continued in 3×9 (Henry’s adoption story).
AnnKine: Some Robin Hood scoop would be great. What’s his story this season on Once Upon a Time? Will he get his own backstory episode?
We will see new Robin Hood (Sean Maguire) in the premiere, and guess what?—It’s not via flashback! Robin Hood is one of the lucky few to have stayed behind in the Enchanted Forest post-curse has made himself quite comfortable in a castle that is filled with dark secrets. He’ll be helping Neal in his quest to get back to Emma and according to the OUAT creators, he’ll be getting some major screen time this season.
I’m really looking forward to how Robin Hood ties into the story. As I’ve stated before, I think he’s Tamara’s daddy. We also know he’s been living in Rumple’s Dark Castle and is going to help Neal is his quest to get to Emma and Henry.
Smolderderavin: To be honest all we want are Rumbelle spoilers ) so if you could please get some we’ll forever love you, you know
We’re all about eternal admiration! Even though our beloved Rumple (Robert Carlyle) and Belle (Emilie De Ravin) are worlds apart, that does not mean that we won’t see them together. To quote Rumple, “Neverland is a place where imagination runs wild,” so just keep that rule in mind in the second episode of Once Upon a Time this season. Bonus Scoop: Their scenes together are better than we could’ve ever hoped for. So sweet and so caring.
I’m looking forward to more Rumple/Belle scenes. I have a feeling that this is going to be a dreamscape, similar to the scene in The Lord of the Ring – The Two Towers in which Aragorn has fallen in battle and he has vision of Arwen, his elf lady, appearing to him and strengthening him to return and fight for their love.
Alex96401212: Can we expect a lot of flashback about Emma’s past in Once Upon a Time? We want to see more of that.
Then you definitely won’t want to miss the first two minutes of Sunday’s season premiere of Once Upon a Time! Fans will be treated to a very special Emma-centric scene in which we flashback to 11 years ago. Hmm… interesting. Isn’t Henry 11 years old? What a magical coincidence! And speaking of magic, let’s just say that Emma’s powers have been with her long before her trip to Storybrooke. We all know that 11 years ago, Emma gave up her baby boy, but did you know how incredibly heartbreaking that decision was for her? And yes, Emma’s time in foster care is also addressed. Kuddos to Jennifer Morrison for bringing tears to our eyes multiple times in these first two episodes.
Thanks to Daniel, we now that that when Emma gave birth to Henry, the hospital lights flickered off and on, which is a clear parallel to when Emma arrived in SB and the street lamp blew a fuse as she slammed her car door shut. To me, this means that Henry is magical and that Henry is the product of True Love, like Emma is.

Yup, that’s sorta what I thought. Snow and Regina fight and so do David and Hook. Emma probably break it up.
Casting someone in stone? You got it!
O_o any guesses?
