I don’t think the writers introduced Newton’s Third Law just to show Snow White getting back into her groove again. I think it is a hint on how to reintegrate Regina and the EQ. Perhaps, for reintegration to occur, our heroes need to create the opposite of the original serum, perhaps with ”opposite” ingredients, the same ingredients combined backwards, or at the very least, ingredients that when combined have the opposite effect or reaction to the original. (Fingers-crossed they know the formula for the one that created the separation). Alternatively, (seeing as the formula was mostly created by science and is therefore probably subject to many of the laws of physics), the reintegration will occur naturally without intervention, that only time is needed for reintegration to occur. If I am right, no doubt Snow White would be the one to propose using Newton’s Third Law in some way to reintegrate the EQ back into Regina, or mention this law to someone else who then makes the link between this and the serum.
You could well be right. But the science lover in me shudders to think of how that conversation would go!

So we don’t know that using the serum to stab the Evil Queen wouldn’t work. As much of that serum as has fallen to the ground you’d think someone powerful enough could extract it from one of the places it has dripped, remove the dust, and multiply the serum. I mean, they got Maleficent back from ashes.
But I agree destroying the Evil Queen wouldn’t make a very good story arc. she needs to reintegrate with Regina.
Also, wasn’t Snow’s original class about fifth grade level? Newton’s Third Law seems rather advanced for that group, particularly when you ask a bunch of kids who haven’t been in school for five years to solve equations their first day back. Are we assuming they’ve all been home-schooled in the interim during memory-loss curses and stints living in hovels in the Enchanted Forest? Did they just give her Henry’s class back?
Glad I made you laugh, RumplesGirl 🙂

If this is the case, then I would like to have seen confirmation that the serum formula had changed. Was it mentioned at the end of 5B? I can’t remember. Could someone remind me?
This is shown and explained in depth in “An Untold Story”. Jekyll added a plant to the serum, so that it would split him from Hyde.

Was he literally just wanting a land to control? If so, why? It doesn’t really fit with his backstory. Also, we haven’t seen how he ended up in the land of untold stories.
EDIT: Also, I wonder which savior/s Hyde has met before, as he referenced this in 6×01. I also wonder if we will get to see his interactions with them.

We don’t see it but Rumple says he banished Hyde to the Land of Untold Stories after discovering that the serum was a “failure”.

Thank you for clearing that up! I often forget a lot of details with the long gap between seasons.
