The showrunners did say they wanted more Bandit Snow White and Swashbuckling Charmimng and said they missed them both in action and seemed to plan more focus on them this time. Maybe this is one of them. The ones we’ve been waiting for. Who knows? This might probably one of the things that gives us the season 1 feeling.
