2) Mary’s dress is pretty
3) How in the name of sanity did Rumple get there?

We’ve seen Rumple be able to travel to other worlds before. It was just getting to the Land Without Magic that was a real challenge for him. Victorian England is considered a magical world, and isn’t the same as the Land Without Magic.

Yes I know this. But usually there is some sort of magical object involved to explain how someone, not just Rumple, can move through worlds. I see no bunny in a jaunty hat!
Also, after five years and specifically the season five finale, the ide that rumple couldn’t get to our world is… funny.

Dr. Hastie Lanyon is a colleague of Jekyll, and disagrees with his scientific concepts. In the 1931 movie, Jekyll is engaged to Sir Danvers Carew’s daughter, Muriel. I think Mary is an allusion to Muriel. Sir Danvers also constantly questions Jekyll throughout the movie. Spoiler alert: things don’t end well with Sir Danvers in either the book or movie. However, if they want to truly honor Wonderland’s events, then Lydgate has to remain alive. I can’t see this flashback taking place in recent years, since Rumple makes an appearance here.

The ribbon is this really distinctive looking gauzy material, so I’m going to assume that the pendant is the same.

RUMPLE went back and forth to DR FRANKENSTEIN’S black and white world without any magical item …. so I think it is safe to say that he could travel to the magical lands… I do not think RUMPLE realized that getting to OUR world to find NEAL was going to be as difficult and unrewarding as it was…..

Of course he could. I never said he couldn’t. I’m saying they usually go to some effort to explain a magical heretofore unseen objects that allows him or others to travel; I have no (well, almost none) issue with the idea of him traveling but this idea that they don’t need to have set rules, objects and explanations just shows how poor the world building is.
As for the Black and White world, he used Jefferson’s hat. He even says that he’s going to send Jefferson (a “master of the hat”) to Frankenstein. We know Rumple and Jefferson were already working together (in the Doctor); Rumple went through to discuss heart-work with Frankenstein and then later sent Jefferson to bring back Frankie to trick Regina and “make his monster”
I’m going to bring you a friend—a master of the hat

I’m working under the assumption that Jekyll/Hyde lost Mary once he began to experiment on himself and transition between Hyde and Jekyll. Perhaps he even kills her in some sort of fit of rage.
