What is Black Fairy is imprisoned in a lamp…hmm. I cannot shake the feeling something unexpected is going to come out of that lamp. We as the audience know that Sidney isn’t in there, so it would be unexpected if in the time between Sidney being set free (Well going into Reginas mirror) and now, the lamp had a new inhabitant.

-Well done to all those suggested that this ep was related to the fairies when the title first came out.
-I wonder if one of the changelings is the Black Fairy? I am disappointed that it is not going to be a reference to Emma and Lily.
-If the wording is accurate, then they an empty lamp in addition to the one they stole last week.
-If the wording is accurate, it seems that Zelena survives whatever EQ has in store for her.
-I wonder if going back in time as dust changed Zelena in some way? Can she, her physical body be used to time travel or be part of a spell for time travel that was previously unthought of?

Possible….very…very…possible. But why introduce the other lamp if the writers would intend them to find another. Maybe it will be like in wonderland where they need 3 genies to break the laws of magic and this will somehow lead to 2. If Jasmine finds another lamp, its possible that one might be the one with Jafar inside it (I know, Jafar is in a BOTTLE not a lamp, but still)

Yeah, I really hope they don’t do this but….you never know with this show. Too many inappropriate story lines for a ”family show”, new magical rule/items discoveries.
They could always use her hair or her tears.
Maybe it’s not time travel. Maybe it is lifting characters off the page of the book and into ”reality”

Well….I’m disappointed that the Black Fairy is presumably going to be a one-off appearance, but I *am* excited to finally be able to put my Black Fairy Morgana theory to bed one way or the other three years later.

Why do you assume that? Adam has welcomed her to the Once family on Twitter, which seems a bit extreme for someone who is going to have a minor appearance in one episode… based on the actress, she may have a bigger role than you might think.
That is actually a really good point. Not familiar at all with the actress, but was mainly trying to remember if we’ve ever gotten a recurring character before whose casting wasn’t announced or even hinted at prior to the press release? That + the article’s lack of specifying her as recurring or joining for a multi-episode arc, which I think they typically do if that’s the case?
oh, come to think of it, beyond the obviously indicative episode title, we didn’t get any casting confirmatiom for Nimue until really late in the game, did we? Maybe I take it back then. I’d love to be wrong.

I think it’s more that he knows her character reveal was the big shock and Adam is milking it for all its worth.
