Do we even know how Neal got to the Land Without Magic? I think he stole a shadow with that coconut and used that to get their? Something like that? I cannot remember.

    They never explained.

The Land without Magic is our world. In season 1, Neal fell down a portal to our world via one of the last magic beans that Blue gave to Rumple. He wanted the magic bean so that he would no longer be magical i.e. no longer the Dark One, so that he be a good father to his son again. However, once the portal was opened, Rumple had a last minute cowardly change of heart, resulting in Neal going down the portal by himself.

The problem is that Baelfire was later taken to Neverland by the Shadow after he was in London. The question being raised is how he got back to our world after being trapped on Neverland for over 100 years. The explanation we sorta got was that he used Pan’s shadow to get back.

    And the coconut!

Didn’t Pan also imply he allowed Bae off Neverland? I vaguely recall Pan saying no one enters or leaves Neverland without his permission or something.

So I’m guessing from Bae’s perspective, he trapped the shadow with the coconut, and then struck a deal. “I let you go if u promise to take me back to the LWM” and so it is done. In reality, Pan told his shadow to take him home after all those centuries so that he could eventually meet Emma and conceive Henry.

    Sounds legit to me.

Well, when Bae used the bean, he actually went to the Victorian era land, he didn’t go to the land without magic, though that is never really explained. It is only later that Bae comes to the real world, but we never see when he comes to the real world and how exactly it happens. It is just talked about with the coconut and the shadow.

No, that WAS the Lw/oM. Be specifically asked then bean to take him here, and A/E confirmed this, when they were promoting Wonderland.

I know. It doesn’t make sense. But you know what? Your questions are pointless.

well was never really a exact explanation, was more hint, bc of the whole coconut and shadow, but was really never explained in canon show, like many untold questions of the show, many about Bae/Neal and about some other characters and bet they will never give answers to those questions, or to those untold stories, to insert in this season theme, or past theme, bc they made a big buzz about that and that last like 4 or 5 episodes.

Yup. Jiminy is right. The London where the Darlings lived is REAL London, not Victorian London. No it doesn’t make sense. Yes, your questions are pointless. I believe when point blanked asked to explain this, Adam literally tweeted: #Magic!

I’ve long thought the reason they decided to make the Darlings’ London the REAL London was to maintain consistency that the bean was supposed to take Baelfire to the LWM. Plus, it does make sense that it was the 1800s in the LWM during that portion of the timeline. It was the conception of Alice’s Fictional Victorian England starting with OUATiW that really made things messy.
