IN anticipation of Sunday’s show I am posting my favorite thread where our members state what they liked about the episode … I am so ready for this the press release looks like a really good show.

.
.March 26, 2017 at 9:00 pm #334997RumplesGirlKeymasterThis was an odd episode for me because tornado sirens were going off the entire time and I thought I was going to die but….
GENERAL: Mixed feelings on this one, guys. The present day Evil Queen and Robin Hood chemistry was fun to watch and I wish the show had gone there with that level of spitfire sooner before they killed our Robin in 5B. I also thought the EQ/Regina stuff was pretty good. But I also didn’t like huge swaths of B-plot, like Emma/Hook and the flashback.
RATING: 7.5/10
LIKED
–Dark OQ had the chemistry and spark I wish Regular!OQ had when they met back in S3B.
–“Please stop asking questions and dig…”
–“Couldn’t you use magic to dig this hole?” “I could but where would the fun be in that?” LOL
–LOL at the Enchanted Ropes!
–It’s not surprising that Regina hates herself most. Her self confidence and self hatred have always been forefront for the Evil Queen/Regina.
–I did really enjoy Lana’s double role tonight, especially when Regina chose love over hate and gave the Evil Queen some of her love and took some of the darkness. I think that’s a rather fitting end to that entire journey of the whole Regina character. (Though, I have some issues. See below)
–“And now I love myself. And so should you.”
–Regina acknowledging that not walking through that door gave her Henry, and her family and the town actually made me tear up. I know I’m super critical of this show but Regina’s story has always felt the strongest and she really has come so far.
MIXED
–Seriously, how do these shears work? They are supposed to separate a person from their destiny, so is the show saying that Regina was always destined to be the EQ? Whatever happened to “evil isn’t born, it’s made.” I honestly don’t get these MacGuffins.
–So using the shears actually involves no cutting and actually involves someone getting their energy sucked out?? I was so confused by the image of Regina getting purple’d.
DISLIKED
–I still think it’s weird to see Henry Sr after his and Regina’s moving and wonderful goodbye last year.
–For heaven’s sake. There is a never before seen map that leads to a never before disclosed powerful object that can help Regina with Snow. That’s two MacGuffin in one scene!
–LOL, really? Cupid’s Arrow?
–Hook had two people tell him to tell Emma and he still chose to not! This is nonsense and it’s nonsense that I’m supposed to be rooting for them after all these lies.
–And Emma knew that was Robert in Hook’s memory because….? She’s never seen him before!
–Emma doesn’t care that Hook killed her grandfather and was more worried about Hook burning those memories. She doesn’t even care about how it affects David, just herself and her relationship with her fiance. Ugh.
–“We need to stop keeping things from each other!” Yes, you do! And yet…at every turn!!!
–The Evil Queen finding hope and loving herself is great but did it have to include a romantic relationship? A romance is not the end all, be all, cure all to a villain.
–What on earth is going on with Ginny’s hair this week???
–Way to waste Rose McIver, show!

It had it’s moments, but I’m going to overlook all of it and just say it was my favorite episode this season! There I said it, I know they should have been put back together, it would’ve been better…but I’m satisfied and I guess happy!
Liked:
“Shouldn’t you be living in a tulip somewhere?!” LOL
Dark OutlawQueen Sass Offs! I live for this!
RegalBeliever Parallel: “No matter what anyone tells you…I love you!” I’m in tears!
Matriarch Mills standing tall for her family!
Henry Sr. trying to help his daughter!
Regina & EQ finally finding peace!
That ending scene screwed all my feels up!!! Going into the Tavern, and Dark OutlawQueen living happily ever after!
Mixed:
So you mean to tell me…all of those villagers heard Tinkerbelle and Regina talk about the Man with the Lion Tattoo…but no one thought to seek out the man who could potentially change the Queen’s heart?
Regina finally learning to love and accept herself…the good and the bad!!! I’m crying y’all!!! Only thing is, she should of reunited with the EQ!!!
Disliked:
Why do all the villages look the same?! Like can we have a different look for once?!

March 26, 2017 at 9:21 pm #335005AKAParticipantI liked the Regina parts of this episode that part a 9/10 the rest 4/10
Liked:
The Regina Hug (that is two great hugs in two episodes that people really needed) I am not a crier and I felt teared up.
The EQ and Robin dynamics, I must say this Robin Hood was so much more engaging, I am almost sad to see them gone because they were so much fun to watch
Loved the enchanted ropes, the smart comments, and just anything that came out of Robin and Evil Queen’s mouth
I was hoping that EQ and Regina would reemerge but I actually really liked how they did this
I loved that Regina now realizes that she loves herself and told the EQ that she should too (almost cried again)
I like that they gave the Evil Queen a happy ending that included Robin Hood, and I am happy that they pointed out again that Regina’s happy ending is Henry, her family, and the town
Mixed:
So Rumple just buried the shears in the cemetery? Why would he do that? Also Rumple has never been this careless with his security as he is this year which I find ridiculous.
The flashback was not really needed nor did it add much to the story although I did like that she realized and was really sad that she hates herself the most.
Emma giving back the engagement ring, although really halfheartedly
Snow being all self righteous and saying that not all people can be redeemed, although they did slide this one back in the end with her saying that love can change the darkest of souls.
Disliked:
The fact that Emma does not care that Hook killed her grandfather just that he was going to burn the memories. Wow, first off does she not give a darn about her own father and his feelings? So basically she was not upset that he murdered an innocent man in cold blood that happened to be her grandfather, she is upset that he was not honest with HER
Hook being given good advice by both Archie and Nemo and not taking either person’s advice, if you don’t want their advise don’t ask for it, he knew what he wanted to do so why go around looking for pity from other people. Look at me, poor Hook I did something in my past which is biting me in the butt and now I don’t want to deal with the consequences (This is the true Hook!)
March 26, 2017 at 10:49 pm #335024TheWatcherParticipantOkay so my biggest nitpick (besides the mess of the CS storyline) is…..
Ummm….was Tinkerbell even really in that scene? It seems like they edited them in together. That really bothered me.

That has been disappointing. This show has just become so episodic. The use of Tink seemingly has no relation to anything to do with the Blue or Black fairy.
Robin ending up being nothing at all of interest and he just went back to the wish realm, boring as ever.
I think that they did not reintegrate the Reginas was a huge mistake. That isn’t even Regina anymore. And how would any version of Regina ever leave Henry for a guy they met once. They wouldn’t.
I think it is pretty likely now that Gideon is going to do something to Emma where true love’s kiss is needed to save her and that is why he got rid of Hook. Though, it is possible that Hook was part of some evil in the past and knows something about the Black Fairy or whatever random thing that is going to happen next and that Gideon wants to keep Hook away from it.

Snow displaying all the emotional sensitivity of a brick, during her bubbly chat with near-suicidally depressed Hook at the dock.

March 27, 2017 at 9:26 am #335043RumplesGirlKeymasterSomebody might want to point out to Henry that he is sending his mom to a realm where his alter ego is trying to kill the Evil Queen for the murder of Snow White and Prince Charming. Awkward
