(Maybe defeating her is not enough and she needs to be killed).

That actually makes a lot of sense. I have been thinking that ever since I found out that the dark fairy was his mom. It can’t be that much of a coincidence that Zoso picked the son of the black fairy to be the next dark one. Maybe he was fated to be the dark one from the very start.
Yeah they really are building up the black fairy to be the biggest villain on the show. I hope they deliver.

She could be the real “Rue Gorem”, the original power, the guardian of the night or whatever it was that Morraine called the Blue Fairy. Maybe she was the original protector of kids (which Blue did say) and then started taking them to fuel evil and dark magic or something.
