Given how Regina and everyone in Storybrooke treat her…I really wouldn’t even blame her if she did. Maybe she’ll return to Oz as a Good/Wicked Anti-hero Witch, and resume being it’s ruler.

February 5, 2017 at 3:40 pm #333113RumplesGirlKeymasterI guess my question is: if Zelena goes back to Oz, does that mean Bex is leaving the show? Like I said, she hasn’t been used much this season thus far.

She got her happily evil ever after and her character really no longer serves a purpose. She has been a sounding board for the Evil Queen this time, but that storyline went nowhere. I like Rebecca, but her character needs to go.
February 5, 2017 at 9:47 pm #333115RumplesGirlKeymasterYeah, I wouldn’t much care if Zelena left. Her character is good for a few lines but that’s about all. What *would* annoy me, however, is that it always seemed, to me, that one of the biggest reasons why the writers killed off Robin Hood was because they 1) couldn’t find a way to make his character more interesting and 2) thought the relationship between Zelena and Regina was meatier and more worthy of their time. The fact that a season later (if these theories are true) Zelena also makes a swift exit without any real development between Zelena and Regina would once and for all prove, to me, that the writers don’t make any sort of meaningful plans. They plot for 11 episodes at a time and don’t try to think of the bigger picture of future seasons.
I mean, killing regulars or sending their characters off to Forgotten Character Island needs to stop being an option. It’s lazy. Plan and develop!

There is all this deep character, past history, stuff they could go into and they never go there. It is just so boring. That is the thing though. They didn’t do anything deep or interesting with Zelena, so let her go. The less characters there are at this point, the better.

I think if they do write off Zelena, it would be ideal if they did so without killing her. I know many here are not Zelena’s biggest fans, but Robin 2.0 being left completely parentless would feel very wrong. It was bad enough with Robin’s death leaving Roland without any living parents. Maybe Zelena and her baby should just leave town with some given excuse?
February 6, 2017 at 8:47 am #333118TheWatcherParticipantEh. I see Zelena sticking around until the end, honestly. She is apart of Regina’s happy ending if you ask me. I agree they haven’t given her much to do. But if anything they may give her character a break and send her off to Oz (I really don’t buy anyone is going over the town line into our world. Just don’t see it happening.) If she leaves anywhere, I just hope she has the blessing/approval of Regina and isn’t just going to snatch the baby. But honestly with Robin returning and the baby I think Zelena is safe (as in she wont die). Leave? Maybe. Leave briefly and then return? Sure.

We did all say the same thing about Robin, though.
I dunno. If the show is ending with S7 then maybe they are trying to boil down the narrative to just the original/most important. They could write that Zelena is going back to Oz to try and rule there as part of her redemption.

It also wouldn’t surprise me if the Olympian Crystal made a comeback. Her happy ending should be with Hades ruling Oz as a GOOD power couple. They already said that Hades could have been wrong about the crystal in regards to Robin being obliterated. Maybe Hades isn’t obliterated and is actually in the UW. Maybe Zelena goes back to the UW to be with him.
