Onwards toward the series finale! Tiana, Blind Witches and Gingerbread…what were your favorite and least favorite moments of this week’s episode 712 “A Taste of the Heights”?

LIKED
– More Facilier/Tiana conflict.
– Someone within the coven is killing witches.
– Regina, Zelena and Rumple teaming up again.
MIXED
– Lucy just randomly finding the page of the storybook…
– Dr Facilier can bring people back to life without paying a price?
– Not finding out about the necklace Facilier got from the gator.
DISLIKED
– Regina/Facilier. No, just no no no. NO.
– Everything about Naveen, IMO bad casting.
– Didn’t see enough of the blind witch, she should’ve gotten more on screen time in this episode.
– Did anybody care about the doctor’s death or the missing results other than Weaver?
– No Gothel, Drizella or Anastasia in this episode :-/
Next episode looks a lot more promising, can’t wait.

My daughter informed me and then gave me the full story of S-Town which is a podcast about a podcaster who goes to a small town to investigate a murder. Apparently the intro was almost exactly like the H-Town podcast in the show. I am wondering if there are going to be other similarities since HH currently has a murderer on the loose. I may have to listen to the podcast, my daughter listened to it in a college English elective and said it was really informative.
Nice twist having someone killing the witches in the coven instead of the other way around, I am now fully interested in who is killing them and why.
Dr. Facilier is intriguing. I liked him from earlier this season and he is definitely nice to look at. I would love to know the backstory on him and Regina. Apparently he knew her when she was the Evil Queen, but I don’t ever remember any mention of him.
I enjoyed Hook and Rumple again this week and I think they play nicely off of each other
Why does Regina, Zelena, and Rumple have to worry that witches are being killed? How does this effect them personally? Rumple seemed to think that the three of them would now be in danger?
Mixed/Disliked:
I Like Tiana’s character in HH but not so much in the flashbacks. I found Tiana and Prince Naveen rather stiff and boring. She had more chemistry with Dr. Facilier.
Zelena’s wardrobe, please cover her up a little we don’t need to see that much cleavage.
Still not feeling Henry and Cinderella and Lucy either in HH or in EF2. There best bet would be to show them as little as possible and concentrate on other characters.

– Tiana and naveen were great I’ve waited so many seasons to see them and I’m down for it

MIXED:
– I like Facillier but I can already tell this is going to probably be a down point of the season. I don’t think he will turn out to be as powerful or vicious as past villains especially if his motivations are to just get back with Regina. I’m all for the ship if it’s going to be well written and I can already bet Regina and Facillier will end up together
– Someone is killing witches? Specifically the witches who were in the coven? Ohhhkay? Does Gothel know about this?
– the doctor was a witch and she was in the coven, eh? Is that all the information we are gonna get? Could have used a bit more.
DISLIKED:
– Whatever that was with the alligator and enchanted spear and all that.
– Roni and Kelly switching places to talk to Samdi. Why?

Rumpel & company don’t know that the murders are limited to witches from that coven. As far as they know, all witches are at risk, or even all magic users. People who are already ensnared in a magical trap are going to be at least a bit paranoid about other magic-related dangers.
It’ll turn out to be just the coven, of course — and probably an internal job, Gothel gathering magic for herself the way she’s been shown doing — because there are only a few hours of storytelling left.

WickedSisters….it’s always going to be RegalBeliever & WickedSisters that make the rest of the final season for me, I just already know it.
Rumple and Hook working together….even though Hook doesn’t remember, its still nice to see how far these two men have come, and I just know I’m going to be utterly destroyed emotionally when Rumple dies.
Mixed:
There’s really no mix besides the Dr. Facilier factor…..on one hand, I’m only mildly intrigued by his relationship with Regina which only shows how last minute planned this love interest was, considering we should’ve been introduced to him quite early on, and yet, I still don’t see not one reason why Robin Hood had to die….like….what was the point?!!!! Do I ship VoodooQueen as it is now coined….not one bit because it’s so last minute and just entirely out of the left field.
If Adam and Eddy just had to have Regina end up with someone in the end, it would’ve been so much easier just to drag New Fairytale Land Daniel, or resurrect the original Daniel or even resurrect Robin Hood somehow! Or even, have Regina and Evil Queen remerge because by now New Robin Hood should be close enough to the original one given he found love with the Evil Queen. There were just so many routes but Adam & Eddy seem to have decided to just take the one they knew would piss off the fandom the most. Is there chemistry between the actors, yes, but lets face it….Lana has chemistry with everybody, hell, she had chemistry with herself in Season 6. And I just….I don’t know….I’m just not on board with this, I just can’t. But even though I’m not on board, what matters to me is Regina’s happiness, no matter what nonsense form it comes in….but Evil Regals know, Queen Regina deserved better than this last minute idea.
Disliked:
Naveen….okayyy….whoooooo….this is the one I’m reallllllllyyyyy pissed off about because I knew Adam and Eddy were going to pull it. Tiana and Naveen are hands down my favorite Disney Couple and I just feel like A & E messed with their story a bit too much….it’s missing something! Like, the chemistry is there, but I really feel like we’ve got the wrong actor. Clearly, he’s talented because he pulled off some of Naveen’s mannerisms pretty well, but he’s just not Naveen, you know. IDK….at this stage in the game, I’m not as surprised because I was expecting it. Its just something missing!
Everything else I just didn’t really care for….I still don’t care about this “Coven” or honestly this relationship Henry’s got with Jacinda….I just don’t know anymore.
Okay, another episode without Alice…..I’m getting irritated by this now, LOL!

Just not feeling this … RATING 4.5 /10
NOT feeling Tiana and Naveen in the flash back… both were obnoxious and I wanted to smack them. I think this is more a problem of the dialogue then the acting.
Did like them in HH they seemed a little more real even though Dean is under the thumb of Facilier.
Sorry but use to be just accepting of Henry and Ella but just do not like them … Not feeling the love. The actress playing Ella can not act… and seems to be pointless… and what new mother leaves her newborn to go alligator hunting. The writing for these two drags.
Did like Weaver and NOOK … they had no problem breaking into he bakery … thought that was funny … expedient justice … liked the blind witch for the few scenes she had. The killing witches serial killer story is interesting but then I like police proceedural shows.
I think my main problem with ONCE this season is the dialogue and writing it is so flat.

Love Regina and Zelena acting like sisters, working well together and Zelena acting like a mature adult (finally). They have the best chemistry on the show right now.
Did any one else catch the nursery rhyme reference from the Blind Witch from the Butcher, the Baker, the Candlestick maker? I don’t know why, but it made me laugh.
Mixed:
Lucy finding the random page. It’s not like this hasn’t happened before. That’s how Robin found the alternate page for his and Regina’s love story. I was hoping the original book would be found in her closet though.
So the doctor was formerly part of the coven. I still don’t care. And how did the coroner miss the obviously glaring tattoo removal that was still visible?
The whole Tiana/Naveen/Fascilier storyline. I like Sabine and I’m liking Drew, but I hate their counterparts. Alternately, I like Fascilier, but am not liking his HH character Samdi quite yet. I wonder what Drew’s reasoning is for doing what Samdi says? It’s obviously his price, but he wouldn’t know that in the cursed world.
Disliked:
Not a fan of Regina and Fascilier. I see no chemistry there. I also want to know when she had time to have a romance with him in her original timeline. I thought she was heart-control boinking Graham for most of her reign? I’d rather watch Regina organically fall in love with someone that be told (again) that she has chemistry with someone.
Did the cop say Sabine couldn’t run her food truck without a food handler’s license? Why was Jacinda not there for this? She used to work at the chicken place. She obviously has a food handler’s license. I know, it was for the story, but if Sabine and Jacinda are running this food truck together, they both should be there.
Why does Ella in a cloak look like she’s wearing a sagging raincoat? This is the first time that a cloak didn’t look sexy on a woman on this show.
For the love of all that’s holy, will someone please wake Rogers up!! And where is Tilly? Get her off her meds and have her help as well. I’m sure she and Nook would love the fact that they can interact I this world without the heart curse thing affecting them.
Everything that Henry said was so Jacinda, I don’t understand why. I’ve never seen any of those traits he said were so her.
All in all, not so impressed by this episode.

Didnt like Regina with Dr Facilier. And I dont think there is enough episodes for them to convince me otherwise. Sure hope I’m wrong. Regina it’s the best and deserves a perfect ending.
Why is Regina lying to Zelena about Facilier? If they got together when Lucy was just baby and no one knows about the till now, are they keeping this secret relationship for ten years?
