This has been a significant time since the first season. And just recently, we find out it’s the time when Henry was born. We know it comes from Peter Pan (The Disney version, I don’t know if it appears in the original book.), and now we’re in Neverland, so I’m thinking the mystery of 8:15 will finally be revealed this third season. What do you guys think about it? Since I can’t make heads or tails of it at all. Please correct me if there’s already a thread discussing this. Notable appearances of 8:15 in the show, Time Storybrooke was stuck in, Time when the shadow kidnapped Baelfire, Time when Henry was born..(Can’t think of anything else right now.)

Eddy and Adam have confirmed numerous times that it’s just a Lost reference. Nothing major.
8:15 is not just a “Lost” reference. Adam and Eddy have confirmed that the time is a major nod to the animated Disney film “Peter Pan.” In that version, Peter takes the Darling children to NL and they land on the hands of Big Ben, at 8:15.
There is actually a thread called “The Significance of 8:15” if you want to read more on the subject.
The PP story is Eddy Kitsis’ favorite fairytale and so the fact that Adam and Eddy have woven in a reference to that Dinsey film since the pilot (the clock in SB was stuck at the time 8:15 until Emma decided to stay in town) means that the writers wanted to include Peter Pan ever since S1. They have said it was simply a matter of acquiring the rights to retell that story in their own way, which they did. The clock being stuck at 8:15, Big Ben being at 8:15 when the Shadow took Baelfire to NL, and now Henry being born at 8:15 suggests that Peter Pan was behind it all. Peter Pan said to Henry that it was not merely a coincidence that the spawn of the Dark One (aka Baelfire) had a child with Emma, the product of true love. Peter Pan planned for Henry to be born of both dark and light magic. Also, SB being frozen for 28 years at 8:15 suggests that PP is behind the dark curse, which ultimately resulted in Henry becoming the truest believer in magic.
