Participant@callmeLola Good to know I was not the only one thinking of Cinderella. @WickedRegal I agree that Cinderella’s connection is unlikely, but think these dumb spoiler fairies don’t think so. Or is there any other popular fairy tale movie with these keywords: three – sisters – ball? They like to throw keywords at fans, creates attention, gets clicks, brings ad-revenue. Who cares that Cinderella already has been done on OUaT. We have Belle’s mother in episode 6 – and I know Belle fans would be madly happy if we get two consecutive episodes with huge Belle background / story / connection, but I doubt that is what we will get. So don’t think the Belle connection makes that much sense either.
That is also very true…two Belle Centric episodes nearly in a row….I can hardly see it. So…this middle sister may very well be an original character who is Elsa and Anna’s middle sister, and nine times out of ten, she is either dead or missing. Or Elsa and Anna never knew they had a third sister….
I mean unless God forbid for Cora to have had another daughter that she had given up…. 😛

ParticipantI really, really hope Adam and Eddy go into the mythology about Elsa’s power. Was she cursed? Was her mother cursed before she gave birth to Elsa? Is it genetic and how? Hopefully, this cast explains a bit more on that.

KeymasterI very much doubt this new sister figure is connected to Belle.
The blonde hair, blue eye’d thing just screams Mitchell, hence my idea of a younger version. Maybe it’s actually the mother of Elsa and Anna, and she just happens to have other sisters.

ModeratorThis just came to mind, but could it be this episode is Will centric and Mitchell’s character is responsible for the death of Will’s sister Penelope? She did die in a frozen lake. “One thin patch of ice, and your whole life changes forever.”

Yes I’ve been wondering if Penelope played into this season given the “ice” line in WL.
Nice job!

And of course some think Mitchell’s character was responsible for “the harshest winter” that Snow was born during. An episode revolving around Snow’s birth sounds like something they would want to do at some point, too.

I’ve been hoping for some time that the death of Will’s sister ties into the 4A story because at least then there could be a believable reason for him to leave WL, if he got wind that the person responsible for his sister’s death (likely the Snow Queen) is in SB.
Agreed with RG that the casting call screams of a young version of Mitchell. I still say she’s Elsa and Anna’s aunt, so their mother can be her younger sister and there can be an older sister who maybe died so Mitchell became heir to that thone and became Snow Queen.
