Veteran showrunners Michele Fazekas and Tara Butters (Agent Carter) have ramped up development through their pod deal at ABC Studios. The duo’s Fazekas & Butters production company has sold two hourlong projects to ABC — one written by them with a Disney theme parks tie-in and one penned by filmmaker Nisha Ganatra. The company also has set up projects at Freeform and Amazon with writers Nick Towne and Heath Corson and is developing a series based on Wesley Chu’s Tao science fiction book series.
Details about the untitled ABC drama written by Fazekas and Butters (aka Hyperion) are being kept under wraps, but it is based on the Disney theme park mythology. The duo is executive producing with former Disney executive-turned-producer Jason Reed.

While I still think there’s a chance OUAT could get a 7th Season, it’s going to end sooner rather than later.

Huh. Well that would feed the hour of Disney love that ABC needs and would be a fresh show that might prove more profitable and rating worthy than OUAT is of late and likely will be at the end of this season.

Is it a tv show based on Kingdom Keepers? That book series is about Disney villains coming to life in the theme park because of….imagination or something… It involves several theme parks as the main characters work there and get transported there every night. Maleficent was the main villain. It was very OUAT-ish.
Hyperion is also the name of Disney’s book publishing thing from which Kingdom Keepers was published. Coincedence?

Yeah…this maybe the one to take OUAT’s spot. If Once is given a 7 and final Season, I’m sure this will air at 8:00 behind it, just to see how well it does.

Well ouat can still get a s7, but cut like with 11 or 13 epis to air for example mid season, that is a bad time to premiere new shows, so they would premiere a new show in the fall and a return show in the spring.
Also didn’t they said also that they were thinking in a Star Wars live action tv show, so they may have several possibilities for next years in ABC schedule to have shows that replace ouat, and in Star Wars case they can use expanded universe stories for the show.
