Questions from 1×10 – 7:15am
1×10 – Could the vet in the SB Animal Shelter be the scarecrow from OZ since he knows at lot about birds?
1×10 – Regina says there is something familiar about the stranger, Why? Did she meet August before as an adult? Or did she just know him as a child?
1×10 – How or why did Grumpy get imprisoned? How did he get framed for stealing a diamond?

That Grumpy question is a continuity thing that bugs me. It didn’t seem like after he said goodbye to Nova that he’d go and steal a diamond and get imprisoned for it, and it wasn’t clear he had one before the BF mind tripped him, I mean, pointed out the right thing to do was leave Nova.

While I like the idea, I don’t know if it will come to fruition. I don’t think they had Oz in mind at the time

I have lots of questions from the scene where Regina first meets Rumplestilzkin. What did Rumple mean when he says “I knew you long ago. I’m so happy. We are back where we belong. Together.” This implies to me that they spent more than just a few moments together. “I know everything about you. I held you in my arms. Back when you were more… portable”. To me, portable means easily carried from one place to another. Under what circumstances did Rumple carry Regina from one place to another. Did he actually carry her from one mother and bring her to Cora? And why did he use the word “portable”? It sounds like a play on words, meaning easily carried through a portal.
I know alot of people thing Regina and Cora are sisters, and you may be right. But are there any hints or clues that might suggest that Regina and WWW might have been switched at birth. Adam said in the Keck article regarding the Snow?Aurora that they wouldnt do a soap-opera baby switch. But would they do a dark baby switch with Rumple, Cora, Regina and http://WWW.
I dont for a moment think that Rumple didnt make Cora pay a price for tricking him in their baby deal. I actually think since Cora broke thier second deal, that Rumple went back to thier original deal, which was Cora giving Rumple her first born in exchange for him teaching her to spin gold.
on the vet from the animal shelter who tells about the dove to dAvid and Mary Margaret: he is dr. dolittle in my opinion.
On Grumpy the dwarf’s story: simple answer they just hoped the audience would not notice that the dreamy episode did not include this tidbit. also I don’t care if we dont see this story because it is not central to my understanding of the plot.
on Regina and august: probably she just saw a picture of Pinnocchio once upon a time or was spying on the war council about the curse and saw him.
On Rumpelstiltskin and REgina meeting wE aRe Both: back where we belong refers probably to hsi ability to see the future and knowing that it would be Regina who would cast the curse.. also i like your explanation of portal and portable but it probably is not true since we clearly saw Cora and Regina in The Queen of Hearts.

Sounds plausible but how much would a child that means absolutely nothing to Regina make such an impression in her head that she remembers what he may look like as an adult? Remember, Rumpel thought August was his son. If Rumpel couldn’t tell his own son’s face from August’s face I don’t see how we can expect Regina to even remember him if she saw him only once. Especially if she only saw him as a child.

It was 300 years or so for Rumple, and it is pretty good casting that Eion Bailey sort of looks like Stephen Lord who played Malcolm. There’s a gifset around here somewhere about it–pretty eerie really.
Makes me wonder–what if there’s some connection to PP for August if he were carved out of a Pixie Dust tree that Malcolm “planted” in the EF when visiting as the Piper? Everyone’s related (kind of sort of in a creepy magical way).
