A Few Unanswered Questions . . .

I have a ton of unanswered questions. I’ll start posting them if you guys want to discuss possible theories and maybe you all have answers that I’ve missed finding. The following questions are from season 1, episodes 1-4…

1×2 – Why was Henry going to Dr hopper long before he found the book? When did he figure out he was adopted?

Henry would’ve noticed he was aging whilst nobody else was, Regina would’ve wanted him to think he was crazy in order to keep the curse secret. Henry may have asked Regina about his dad and why there are no photos and Regina could’ve told him he was adopted. Regina could’ve even blurted it out in an argument with Henry, their relationship wasn’t that great in season 1.

1×2 – Is the blind witch shown in Regina’s circle of baddies related to the Seer from 2×14 because they seem to have the same sewn shut eyes?

I don’t think so, she didn’t have the eyes on her hand.

1×3 – Where did Snow get the bad fairy dust? Did she get it from Malificent?

We don’t know yet.

1×4 – Why would a fairy wand be pure evil?

Rumple could’ve lied, it could be his prejudice against the fairies coming out. It could also be his shorthand for “all magic comes with a price”. Also he could’ve have said it as a way to lead Cinderella into making a deal with him.

1×4 – Why did Rumple/Gold want Ella/Ashley’s baby?

He could have foreseen that it would enable him to get a favour from the future saviour. Also it could be because he knew Charming would lock him up in order to protect the unborn child from Rumple.

1×4 – Where did Thomas go after possibly falling in the well?

I think magic made Thomas disappear as the price of breaking a deal. Thomas said that he would pay the price for Cinderella, which probably amounted to a verbal contract.

1×4 – How did Cinderella & Snow meet and become good friends?

We don’t know how long after Rumple sends Cinderella to the ball that the wedding occurs. Snow and Cinderella could’ve met and become friends in that time jump.

1×4 – What is Prince Thomas’s back story?

He was probably a rich little prince all his life.

If Henry were gay, it would be so out of left field. We’ve seen him for 3 seasons and there has been no suggestion of that like with Mulan. Henry is a kid too. I dont think they’d do that. Unless the storyline was him coming to terms with it.

Snow and Cinderella must’ve had some sort of friendship, otherwise why would Thomas and Cinderella go to Snowing for help with Rumple?

Henry is an interesting possibility for the LBGT character but I don’t think they’d deal with that for another few seasons once Jared grew up a bit more and let his acting chops grow a bit.

If they only meant Mulan then like I said it feels very pander-y and like sweeping the issue under the rug. I cant’ say for certain how often Jamie could come back but given her new show on NBC “Believe” it wouldn’t be a center story.

Henry sort of fancied Gretel in True North but he could definitely be a LGBT character within a season or two.

If it is Mulan, then the way it’s been portrayed is great, it’s subtle and not in your face, but I would like to see more story progression of that. However, I don’t want it taking too much screentime away from my favourite characters.

Henry sort of fancied Gretel in True North but he could definitely be a LGBT character within a season or two. If it is Mulan, then the way it’s been portrayed is great, it’s subtle and not in your face, but I would like to see more story progression of that. However, I don’t want it taking too much screentime away from my favourite characters.

Agreed about Mulan. It was very real how they did it. I felt her heartbreak :/ anyway, if its Henry now would be a good time to introduce it. Neverland was full of boys afterall, and plus if my theory is right, he has someone elses (Devins) heart inside of him so who knows what that may do to him. I think if it is Henry then they should just hint at it now, but actualy introduce when he is much older >> I’m just not comfortable with that right now :/ I still see Henry as an 11 year old

If I were the one writing this show, I think Mulan being the LGBT character would have been too obvious. What I would have done was use all the hints about WarriorBeauty from last season to throw the audience off track and then BOOM! U find out Phillip is in love with Shang >>

I think the way they handled SleepingWarrior was GREAT and heartbreaking but if that’s the *only* LGBT character or storyline they plan on introducing, then it feels like “we needed to have an LBGT storyline so we’ll do this cause we’re writing Mulan off anyway.” I’d rather have an LGBT storyline that is played out in front of me. It doesn’t have to be a long epic story like Snowing or Rumbelle, but more than just a five min scene at the end of an episode between two characters who won’t be around to develop it.

Well who do you guys think will be Mulans True Love then? I can’t think of another Disney character who could fit? Maybe Merida? She is the one the Disney princesses who doesn’t get a prince at the end of her movie 😛
