If Shang is a girl, how would that translate into Mulans story? Wasn’t Shang the general or the son of the general? For him to be a woman, he too would have to be undercover. In the Mulan movie, both Shang’s assistant guy and Mulan’s father said if she was found out, she would be executed. Maybe Shang WAS found out and killed….
Maybe but they don’t have to stick with any sort of traditional approach of Mulan through her movie. Shang could be a girl who had the same idea as Mulan and they met while training together.

In story, what exactly was Snow’s reason for telling Charming that Regina wants her dead because she is prettier than her? Out of story, we know it was a mistake and Adam said so, but in story there SHOULD be a reason. Even Snow saying that she lied to Charming because she was ashamed could be enough. Does Charmin even know why Regina is such a witch to Snow?
In show I don’t think there is a reason for the lie and neither will there be. It wans’t a “mistake” so much as it was the pilot. They needed to hook their audience into coming back week after week and to do that they had to present the traditional Snow White tale. I don’t think they had even fully fleshed out Regina and Snow’s back story at that point. They were more concerned with ratings and retention than mythology.

Good question. I can’t think of any fairy tale characters off the top of my head who deal in trading children excpet the PIed Piper and we got him

Regina promised they would all be happy here. The only two I think we have seen is Ms. Ginger and the leprechaun (gnome?) that sits in Reginas garden. While we are on the subject, exactly who or what were those darkest souls? I see a blind witch, gnome, ogre, some kind of axe wielding something, some lady figure type of thing that for some reason I keep saying is a centaur but my television us too dark for me to check >>

Good questions! I forgot about the fate of what happen to those characters. There could be background stories on any of those characters that just haven’t been told yet, like how EQ came to know them and what she used their knowledge for. I bet EQ lied to them about being happy in SB just so they would comply. The gnome got a fate worse then death for not believing in her cause. Also, One of the characters in that scene was ogre-like and his actor has been seen at least once in SB as well. In 1×8, in the scene in Regina’s office he was a guy in a blue suit in the background as part of the media crew. So they all could be in SB, we just haven’t recognized them all yet.
Speaking of which, where did Pan get the hairs from these evil doers along with all the other ingredients needed to re-create the curse? Did he steal them from Gold’s shop?

Good question. I’m assuming those were the ingredients Felix brought to and was throwing into the well, stolen from Regina’s vault. Which means that Regina kept hairs from people in her vault.
