    Dear Reader,

Hi. As the topic suggests, I’ve never seriously used a forum before. Writing always bored me when it didn’t have any pictures to go with it – guess that’s an example of how much I love OUAT, right?

I first heard about Once Upon A Time via a youtuber who specialises in abridging anime series. I was subscribed to him when I noticed that he’d uploaded a video named ‘ The Curse Is Real ‘ – obviously ,it was a OUAT podcast. It was a few days after listening to it that I decided to check this new show out. I’ve never been a tv person myself, so even that was a big step. I’ve gotta’ say, the first episode isn’t all that spectacular, but it sure is enough to keep you interested. When I saw Emma chasing that criminal down the street, my immediate thought was: “Oh God, not one of these…” … but I was wrong, pleasantly so.

I’ve been watching Once Upon A Time since August of 2012, and make sure to never miss an episode. Once Upon A Time is more than just a television series to me; it’s a mystery, a puzzle, a beautiful complication that every analyst out there will want to decipher. I am one of those people, for nothing gets my creative juices flowing more than a good, solvable puzzle.

I love Once Upon A Time, I love how the writers have adapted not just the Walt Disney versions of fairy tales, but the folk lore and original stories that so few of us know about. I’m forever guessing what will come next and I’m glad to say that I never can predict what will happen in the upcoming episodes. I love to be kept on my toes. =)

I’m always up for talking about OUAT and having a stab at answering any questions people have. I specialise in the Gothic Genre and the Fairy Tale Genre, and I often apply these Genres to my understanding of every aspect of OUAT.

    Thanks for reading.
    ~ Maria.

    Hello, hello. 😀

And I’ve seen ALL of the episodes, Daniel! At least three times each. I usually go back and re-watch them all during a hiatus. I think I started watching just after Season 1, because I remember starting during a hiatus.
