See that is still confusing to me with Snow and the Ariel that outfit is for the past in FL, guess Snow was out boating and got tipped over by Ursula in NL. I just don’t know how Snow got to NL guess we will see. Funny we were just chatting about this the other day, remember RG?
We have skills, HE. We can see the future.
I am BEYOND confused as to what this means.

Cut to two years later, when she finally received the call to slip in her Little Mermaid fin – just three months after giving birth to a daughter, Emerson, this past May.
“I was so excited to do this show that I didn’t realise I would be wearing next to nothing postbaby,” she says with a sigh on location in Vancouver. “And my butt is so big. But that’s life.”
Ariel first appears in Neverland as she comes to the rescue of a drowning Snow White (Ginnifer Goodwin), and neither actress was particularly fond of shooting for “Under The Sea” scenes. “I had begged not to be included in the Ariel story because I hate being in water more than anything on the planet,” says Goodwin. “Even though I got very wet, I have to say it ended up making for one of our best episodes.” Garcia Swisher had it even tougher – she had to swim in a tank while her legs were bound in a tail. “It was so crazy, I can’t even tell you,” says the actress.
Snow White ends up thanking Ariel by helping to unite the mermaid with her beloved Price Eric (Gil McKinney), whom Garcia Swisher says “Is everything to Ariel and the reason she gets into trouble.”
What sort of trouble? At a ball, Ariel voices displeasure over crab being served (a nod to her calypso-singing crustacean pal from the 1989 animated Disney film The Little Mermaid). But her primary threat is evil sea witch Ursula who, “turns out to be an incredibly powerful goddess,” Garcia Swisher teases. “She grants my people their wish to have legs once a year – but there’s always a price for magic.”
Surely it was meant to say FTL instead of NL, because Snow’s in FTL, and safe to say Eric is as well. But we’ve seen mermaids in NL, so the question still remains of if Ariel’s one of them, and if merfolk have portal access.
This new info about Ursula granting them legs once a year makes me wonder if perhaps she opens up a portal for them, because really, who wants to walk around NL if you only have limited time to walk around?
It’s curious that they’re gonna have her saving Snow instead of Eric, because for all the differences in the love story in the Disney and Anderson versions, one thing that’s the same in both is that the love story begins with her saving the Prince from drowning. Suppose it’s still possible that we’ll also see her saving Eric at some point, but I don’t think they’ve shot that yet because they’d likely have shot it the same day they shot Snow’s drowning scene, and Gil wasn’t on set yet. Ariel’s still gotta find out that Eric exists somehow. If she’s only human once a year, I dunno how they’d be able to have a committed relationship. And I’m not even saying that with my Hookriel goggles on, I’m just straight up wondering how much time they really get to spend as a couple if she’s only got legs momentarily once a year. Maybe she saved him when they were much younger, and she’s come back to see him for one date, once a year? Would he even know that she’s a mermaid in that case? Or would she just be a mysterious girl who always pops up on the same day every year?
Anyway, back to the Ursula thing, and the word “goddess” does instantly make you think Calypso, just because of PotC. Though if they’re gonna stick with Ariel’s father being Triton, and make him the sea god of Greek myth, then there are automatically more options because any female relation can be written as a sea goddess. Either way though, we haven’t had a casting call for a sea goddess, so hmmmm.

I feel like it has to be FTL. How does Eric have a castle and a happy ball in NL when it’s a dark island with a psycho 17 yr old boy?

How did Eric and Ariel even meet if she didn’t save him?

@MirzaOliveira that what happened last night? I didn't have time 2 watch yet. I speculated in my column that RH would be it, but was told no

I am keeping my Hookriel goggles firmly on until we see a TLK, and even then they’ll probably stay there.. but Prince Eric is my favorite so I guess I’ll survive 😀 So excited for Ariel!
I’m thinking something must have gotten confused. Also in the picture it looks like Bandit Snow, does Snow still have connections with other royalty when she’s on the run?

Yeah, I know a couple of us questioned this briefly before, but now that we have info suggesting that Snow is gonna help Ariel get to Eric, I guess she must still be in contact with other royals, even while she’s on the run.
