Cause yes. After tonight…our headcanon is totally on.

–Rumple’s first interaction with PP in FTL of the past. Oh. They knew each other already. And PP even made a joke about how Rumple grew up to become the Dark One. BROTHERS
–PP’s little family reunion joke. BROTHERS.
–The original PP story by Barrie. He had a brother. BROTHERS
–So many clues.

For awhile many of us toyed with the idea that Rumple was a lost boy, but we saw tonight that PP hadn’t even created the Lost Boys until AFTER Rumple’s became the Dark One. BROTHERS.

Now I have this amazing vision of young!Rumple and Pan scampering along green hills like in Scotland and making some blood oath to always watch out for each other or some crazy stuff…
But my real question is this: Who names one child such a mouthful as Rumplestiltskin, and the other is simply Peter?
I didn't think that I could be any more obsessed with pirates, and then Season 2 came, and a Captain by the name of Killian Jones snarked into my life...

Maybe it’s the other way around and Rumpelstiltskin wasn’t Rumple’s original name. Maybe the spinsters who raised him called him that for some reason.
After all Cinderella wasn’t Cinderella’s real name. It was a nickname she got from sleeping by the fire.

I’ve been on TeamBrothers for a while now and after this ep, if it turns out they’re not brothers, I’ll be seriously surprised.
Yes definitely! The fact that Rumple had knowledge of Pan, and Pan had such detailed knowledge of Rumple…. it’s all coming together. That Papastiltskin Snr has just been cast only confirms things for me. When were we due to learn more of Pan’s backstory? Have Eddie or Adam let that slip yet?
Really like the concept that Pan and Rumple are brothers, although agree that the difference in names is hilarious.
