So, instead of watching OUAT last night, I opted to watch the movie Hocus Pocus with my parents because I hardly get a chance to really spend time with them these days. The movie stars Bette Midler who is fantastic in both camp comedy and serious drama. One of her best movies is Beaches which also stars Barbara Hershey.

Wouldn’t it be awesome if the producers could cast Bette as one of Cora’s contemporary rivals? It could be featured as a reunion for them. To me, she would be best cast as the White Queen in Wonderland. However, I’d also like to see her cast as Ursula, but it was hinted in “Skin Deep” that Regina could have been the one to give Ariel her legs in trade for her voice.

I think Bette would be great as Ursula.

Me too. She has admitted that her role as Winifred in Hocus Pocus is her most favorite role that she has ever played, so I’m thinking she would be a better fit as the sea witch. At the same time, I want to see her go toe-to-toe with Cora. 😉
