A special request to all fans of every "ship" (Warning: possible spoilers!)

Hi, everybody. I am throwing this in early, and am asking for the fandom; everyone in the fandom to jump on board to something worthy of our time and effort. Remember: We are all fans of the same show! My tumblr page has issues, but I can use it to look at what others are saying. What I have seen in some of the posts concerns me, and has prompted me, as a fan to post this. Please forgive the whole post not being in “spoiler” mode. I tried to use the spoiler tag, but can’t figure out why they won’t work! 🙁

The rumor is, that Neal will die in the next episode, and the funeral is in the one to follow

If this is true…. Please, here is what I, as a fan, am asking from everyone, if I may:

*Regardless of your “ship”, remember the feelings of others. The one to die could have just as easily been your favorite, as someone else’s. Try, and put yourself in others’ shoes

*Be a healer! If you know someone is a Neal fan, offer words of comfort, consolation, and empathy. The feelings his fans will have over the loss of a character will be real, and they’ll need your verbal shoulder; not a cold shoulder; insensitive mockery, light-hearted indifference, or even celebration. That’s unfair to others, and is not the way we should be! It’s not who we are!

Thanks, everybody. I know it’s not my place to tell anybody how they should behave, but I am hoping that little ‘ole me can help prevent the disaster I fear is possible, given the way some fans have behaved toward others in times past. God bless!

Regardless of who dies, I can’t imagine anyone on this site  celebrating or saying “I told you so”. For the most part, people here have been decent to each other, even with the shipping wars.  Out in the wilds it may be a different story. Thank you for posting @Sarah_TN

I just want to stress this however: rumors are rumors are rumors. Before the show even came back there was a rumor that Hook wold die in 315–obviously isn’t happening. And before this it was: “Neal’s a goner in 316!!!!” Rumors fly around this show like crazy. And they rarely come true.

And they aren’t going to spoil a major character death in a 30 second promo clip. Not saying Neal isn’t going to die *eventually* but they won’t give that away in a promo. They’d tease it out like “and one of their own will die!!” and then flash to several faces (think the promo for The Miller’s Daughter)

This is so true. Personally, I am just waiting for a shoe to drop. I just can’t see A&E letting something that big slip out so easily. I personally don’t think the “death” will happen until the season finale, but that’s just my own instincts talking. I don’t have anything to base that on.

I love Neal, but it is H & K storie to tell. I will not interfere with their decision. I watch this show cause of this great storie they told us about 3 season and the hope it gives to me. I am totally Swanfire and if it happen this way it will be cut a deep wound in my oncer heart, but that is also when somebody other would die like Hook, archie, Red, Granny, doesn’t matter. I love them all. So what eve happen I am sure we will comfort each other.

We should always try to comfort every ship. How awful we think they are, but what we also learn from this show, is that nothing is freaky enough to not happen and it is cool that we have a possibility to let our mind spinning and not always think in boundaries as we often have to in the normal life.

Make ships not war.

Whoever dies, the one it’ll most affect is Emma and seriously, no one from any ‘ship should be happy about a death happening.  Think of it this way, if someone close to you died in real life, I would want to console you over that loss.  I know whoever dies is a fictional character but still…
