–Gareth was just tying his boots up. (laughing so hard, I might be crying)
–I would accept death on OUAT if it came complete with this creepy dancing and singing.
–“Hold me, cause I’m gonna cry” “No”
–“Stop singing!” (I don’t know if Galavant understands this show)

[adrotate group="5"]"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"January 24, 2016 at 9:16 pm #315550MatthewPaulModeratorThese two episodes might have been the best of Season 2 so far. Just so many great moments! Gareth’s love song, the “Goodbye” song with death, Richard and Roberta falling for each other, Galavant trying to figure out how to control his zombie army, the rap battle between Izzy and Madalena, Madalena doing D’DEW (Dark Dark Evil Way), the Grease parody with Richard and Roberta, and so much more!

Surprised you didn’t go for the “tell that to the OUAT writers” joke. lol! Speaking of which, I couldn’t help but be reminded of Rumple and the Dark One when they had the whole D’DEW thing with Wormwood. You could even compare the Madalena and Wormwood master/teacher relationship to Regina and Rumple.

While we were watching, @Josephine wondered if Rumple could jump show and go be on Galavant instead cause he so clearly fits there with the D’DEW/Wormword/Madalena
"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"January 24, 2016 at 9:23 pm #315552MatthewPaulModeratorUpon further reflection, I wonder if them trying to save Galavant from “Death”, and Galavant kicking “Death” in the junk were possible slams at the TVGrimReaper (The current mantle of the former Cancellation Bear). Heh.
January 24, 2016 at 9:30 pm #315553RumplesGirlKeymasterI just want to say that I love how in the midst of all the comedy and spoofing and singing, the show manages to have some moments of real heart–Richard and Roberta’s conversation about how she can’t watch him die but he can’t abandon Galavant really pulled at the heartstrings. The shows always does such a great job balancing the humor, the meta commentary, and the seriousness.
"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"January 25, 2016 at 11:20 am #315562MatthewPaulModeratorRatings for last night are in. We were down compared to last week with a 0.5 demo and 2.10 total viewers. I was expecting somewhat of a dip, since normally any premieres airing against the NFC and AFC championship games drop. It could have been worse, but still not a fan of seeing the show suffer any more losses. This show really deserves better. Thankfully ABC SHOULD at the very least still air the finale next week, otherwise I’m going to throw some things. Really, it’s their only Sunday premiere for January (outside of AFV, which isn’t even new next week), and there’s only one week left to go.

"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"January 28, 2016 at 4:35 am #315705PheeParticipantThe other day I got my brother (who is currently living with me) to watch all of S1 in one sitting, and then he went and got himself copies of S2 all of his own accord, and I have never been prouder of him in my life. LOL

Yes! And it’s amazing that they manage to fit ALL the different aspects of it in, considering how each ep is only 20-odd minutes, and feels like it flies by in about 10.
I’m excited for the big finale, I may actually weep when Richard discovers he’s the HERO with the special sword…then I’ll cry some more because the season (and potentially the whole show) will be over, and I don’t want it to end!
January 29, 2016 at 10:23 am #315764MatthewPaulModeratorThe full Season 2 soundtrack is out! Warning, the last few tracks are from the final two episodes, so major spoilers:
