Don’t know what the hearts mean…could be as simple as they are couples or that they produced a child…does seem odd though that they would use an actual heart.

Not that odd…all the main villains have ripped out hearts before. They’re important.

Keeper of Belle's Gold magic, sand dollar, cloaks, purple FTL outfit, spell scroll, library key, copy of Romeo and Juliet, and cry-muffling pillow, Rumple's doll, overcoat, and strength, and The Timeline. Perhaps that was the wrong wording on my part…I guess what I mean is creepy…just from my own perspective I would think along the lines of valentine’s day heart to denote love or couples and they stick actual hearts up there so for me it’s just a little creepy.

Then again maybe it is just me…the skull and crossbones to denote those that are deceased I don’t find creepy at all…go figure. lol

I do find it interesting that they say the family tree is to help guide us on our journey…so maybe there are a few more surprises coming in relation to who is related to who.

So do the hearts mean true love? Because if that’s true it shows Neal/Bae as a product of true love. So does true love change? Because that means the tree says Milah and Rumple were in true love when they had Bae, but of course we also know Milah/Hook and Rumbelle as true loves?

I think Milah proved you can fall out of true love and it has been suggested on this show that people can find love again. Daniel said to Regina to love again before disintegrating into magical purple dust.

I suspect the hearts signify some kind of love in the pairings but not necessarily true love. I can’t imagine anyone calling Rumple/Milah true love with how quickly she went from worrying over him to wishing him dead. Him murdering her for running off with Hook is another death knell in that one being true love for me. Wish they’d put a key on that tree for the heart symbol.

Well, theirs certainly has fancier graphics than the one I posted a few weeks ago! But I do think mine is easier to read. Some of the lines on theirs have very low contrast and they didn’t show Regina’s marriage to Leopold at all. If you didn’t see mine, I’ve attached it below.
