I think all Eddy meant was that we are going to see the characters take back more of the traits we originally saw them with in FTL…traits that had become a bit muddled in Storybrooke. Everyone is going to want to do everything in his or her power to get Henry back, but the conflict is going to be in that each will have a very different idea on what exactly that is. The Charmings probably won’t like Regina or Rumple’s methods!
I don’t think it’s worth it to get all worked up over how Adam and Eddy word things. In the end, all that really matters is what ends up on the screen.

Yes, but it’s important to me that they don’t think that the core of Rumple’s being is that DO……that, IMO, is just wrong. However, I’m pretty sure Phee is right…….
It will be interesting to see if Gold has to cope with what he might have to do in SB….because apparently the 2nd half is a completely different season. This guy burdens himself with so much guilt. I hope that frankly he realizes that whatever he has to do, it’s all for saving Henry – it’s not like he’s going out of his way to just turn people into snails. Evil has to be defeated and evil counts on good being TOO good. NL is apparently very dangerous and if some iffy things have to be done, so be it.. I want Gold to come back feeling good about himself…….and that he’s alive to see Belle and have a life with her

It could be that the Curse was designed to only bring people from FTL to our world, and then the EQ selected a few others to punish.
This is what I think, too. This bit of conversation for the finale of season one is interesting:
Mr. Gold: Tell me, Your Majesty, is our friend still in the basement?
Regina: Oh, you twisted little imp. You hid it with her?
Mr. Gold: Oh, no, no. Not with her. In her. I knew you couldn’t resist bringing her over.
This sort of confirms this theory that she picked and chose some of the people she brought over with the curse besides those residing in the Enchanted Forest. I do think Maleficient lived in the Enchanted Forest, too, but Rumple’s wording implies that she had some degree of control over the curse and who would come to Storybrooke. But the thing is, do the writers remember this or are they going to change their plans.

Archie: Sorry. What you said isn’t entirely true, is it?
Regina: I’m sorry?
Archie: About the curse only taking the living. The grave of your father’s here, right?
Regina: I don’t care about Whale or his brother. I brought who I wanted.
Regina brought everyone in FTL who wasn’t in the Bubble because that’s how the Curse worked, but she also grabbed Jefferson from WL and Whale from Land W/O Color.

Greg, will man up and try to protect Henry and gets killed trying to help him.

I’d be ok with that. It would redeem GregOwen a little bit. I don’t see either being thrilled when they find out who they’re working for, since they’ve been so anti-magic and all. So hopefully they’ll have a change of heart but I still don’t particularly want them hanging around either so sacrificing to save Henry would suffice. We need answers on the taser too so hopefully that happens fast as well.

I’d be ok with this as well. Greg/Owen does need a little bit of redemption. They told us his very sad story for a reason, to elicit sympathy so they can’t leave him a “bad” guy forever. As for Tamara, yes please dispose of her. But I need to know her story first.

Yeah that’s what I’ve always figured too, and I’ll stick with it unless and until something on the actual show suggests otherwise. The way Eddy worded it in this interview made it sound sort of different, like the Curse itself affected other worlds beyond Regina’s tinkering with it.
