On phone, on hold, waiting for #OUAT ep 303 production meeting to start. Should I see how many goldfish crackers I can fit in my mouth?

The production meeting has started. #OUAT They are talking about adding both a lute player and a flute player to this scene. (F)lute!

Production meeting is wrapping up with a discussion of lanterns and torches. Let there be (old-timey) light. #OUAT

Pied Piper can be abbreviated to PP as well. That’s enough evidence for me! 😉

Wow!!! What a great idea!!! 🙂
August 1, 2013 at 3:13 pm #202827ClessidorParticipanthmm “They are talking adding both.” it sounds a little bit like they are just adding two minstrels to a scene.
Well, Peter Pan beeing the Pied Piper would definitively fit. In the original Legend the Pied Piper lead the children into the center of a hill or a mountain and came out on a place far away like Transylvania (Grimm version). Neverland has also a mountain at the center. Also the Greek God Pan is playing the Pan flute.
Thinking about a lute player the first one who comes into my mind would be Orpheus. Sometimes he is shown playing a medieval lute instead of an ancient lyra and his trip to Hades trying to get the soul of his love Eurydice back from Hades reminds me on Aurora and Philipp. But that would be a little bit far fetched.
It could be simply be that both instruments are connected to the Pied Piper. Maybe he will just be a person who uses one a beautiful kind of magic: music.^^“There were thousands and thousands of forms of joy in the world, but that all were essentially one and the same, namely, the joy of being able to love.”
— from the Neverending Story by Michael EndeAugust 1, 2013 at 3:22 pm #202830kfchimeraParticipantIt’s a production meeting, in the next one she is talking about the lighting design. I don’t think it is a character detail at all but like Clessidor said, adding another minstrel to a scene.

August 1, 2013 at 3:29 pm #202831JosephineParticipantPeter Pan plays the pan flute. I don’t think it needs to be tied into the Pied Piper. Although the Pied Piper did lure children away from their parents, too.
It’s probably the writers just joking in the writer’s room and a play on words with flute and lute.

August 1, 2013 at 7:24 pm #202840RumplesGirlKeymasterFigured I could post this one. It’s a very long conversation that and I can’t post all of it but many people were asking about how the Curse worked in SB. Like how they had credit cards and computers and supplies (something we’ve wondered often enough here). This was Adam’s response.
@OnceUponATimeKw @ffhobbes magic. the curse was magic. it allowed many things to happen. more explanations to come if ya stick w/us

And another that was born from a conversation Jo, KFC, and HappyEndings and I were having.
@Punk_Bunny_87 already did it with Mulan!

"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"August 1, 2013 at 11:17 pm #202844kfchimeraParticipantLol that was kind of what I said in chat, though I added….Mulan isn’t REALLY a proven historical figure though, as it is based on an ancient poem . There were more accurate records about Pocahontas.
Then we got sidetracked about the real authors who wrote things like Peter Pan, Frankenstein and Alice, how would they be accounted for within the ONCEiverse.
I also said that I bet Adam likes seeing RG’s tweets, as they probably make him think, more than the usual “who’s in love with who” things or the “I don’t understand how this magic thing worked” and he responds “It’s magic.”
Though I would want to know the curse details, I think it does go under suspension of disbelief!
