I guess I’m just not sold on the idea that PP is involved with the book – I feel like that reveal would be left for later, not season 3. Unless I missed A and E saying it would be revealed this season? I don’t think EVERYONE is working for PP, just GOAT.
It’ll be interesting to see if Belle actually gets the book and what happens from that.
In the first lightening round for this season from TVGuide, when as if we would find out who authored the book this season, Adam said “can’t say” which is Adam-speak for “yes.”
Here is what we do know:
–The author must be old and know all the stories
–The author must be familiar with the EF and its people
–I would guess that the author somehow knew that this book would play a big role in breaking the curse.Based off that: Blue, Rumple (though I doubt it), PP/Tink are my top choices.

The way I’m looking at it, the book was a vital step in the plan that allowed PP to achieve his endgame – getting Henry.
If Henry never got the book, he’d never have figured out the truth, he’d never have gone to get Emma, the Curse never would have been broken, and PP’s employees GOAT wouldn’t have been able to get into SB in order to kidnap Henry for him. So I reckon that book has to have been created and planted by someone who wanted PP’s endgame to be achieved.I can see the PP connection now, he definitely would have a stake in the curse being broken. Although we still don’t know about the second half of the season and who we’ll be introduced to then, so it could be someone we don’t know about yet.
Though if it’s between PP and Tink I’d prefer Tink lol, give her more purpose. PP has enough going on in the story probably. Or maybe PP made Tink write it. If she has a connection to the BF then she’d know everything that was going on.
So maybe it plays out like this:
–PP “sees” how important the book is and orders Tink to write it.
–Tink, living in NL, needs help because she doesn’t know all the events of FTL
–Tink calls on Blue to give her information about FTL
–Blue probably leaves some things out that maybe don’t cast her in such a good light.
–The final preparations Blue speaks of in “The Stranger” is to collect the book from Tink and ensure that it comes through to SB.

It’s possible that the reveal will be in the second half of the season. Wouldn’t it be awesome if the Wizard of Oz was behind it all haha.
I want Oz badly. But I don’t think they’re going to complicate things that much by introducing another myth onto this season. While I know that the first half and the second half are being treated almost like two seasons, they have to be thematically linked somehow. Part two just can’t start off on a new adventure without some sort of tie into part one, that’s just bad writing. So I think if NL/PP/Tink are part one then THO in our world is part two, and waaaaaaay back before S2 ended I hypothesized that THO in our world was being run by Dorothy but her reveal won’t be until the end of the season. That would be a nice way to set up Oz for S4.
"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"I was thinking more of a reveal at the last episode kind of thing, not midway or first half, as in this whole season we may not know how PP got this pic of Henry, and the end of this season 3 (not the mid winter break) will answer the question but it will lead to something else for season 4. NL is enough this season.

Dorothy would be a good one to run the HO since we can surmise she’s had experience with realm jumping. We assume she has the shoes that Rumple was looking for. Plus, remember August had a Kansas license plate on his bike, meaning that he’d spent a bit of time there at some point. Maybe that’s how the HO got a trace initially on August.
