The how and why of Ariel ending up in SB will probably give us a better idea of whether or not Belle could get to NL. Right now I’m thinking that Ariel got accidentally sucked through the portal in the opposite direction of the JR. If so, she’s not there with any particular message or mission, and probably doesn’t have a way to get back. If she did have a way, then maybe Belle could hitch a ride. Maybe Ariel will know how to work a magic mirror and they’ll bring that part of B&tB into it. Oh, then maybe if they’re re-growing beans, Belle will go to NL after watching Rumple through the mirror?

I also think she got sucked into the portal when the JR went to NL. But I also think that Gold has the trident in his shop. We saw it in Skin Deep but it was missing from 301 and 303 when we went to the Dark Castle.

Maybe Ariel has an enchanted mirror so she could watch Eric, even while she was in NL and he in FTL. Maybe that’s what she carries around in her little bag. And maybe she’ll give it to Belle to use instead, so she can see Rumple.
I would love for the magic mirror to come into play. It was one of my favorite theories over the summer!

Hopefully next week we’ll get to see Ariel and Belle interact, even if it’s just like the last minute of the episode, to lead into 307. I can’t remember when Joanna Garcia first tweeted about being on set, was it the same time she and Emilie were seen on the beach? We might see Belle in 306 with Ariel (for the present time scenes), and then not see the rest of SB until 307. I just want to see how these two interact, and I’m glad Belle will be having more connections to people other than Rumple and Red lol. We’ll get answers soon!

Based on those tweets I think this means it’s Ursula playing Regina playing Ursula. The question is WHY

Why would Ursula want to look like Regina? Maybe Regina solution to dealing with a certain mermaid included making a deal with her pal the sea witch? I’m not sure exactly what that deal would be or why Regina would want it.
ETA: Regina gets to deal a blow to Snow by indirect means through Ursula making a deal with Ariel which somehow impacts Snow.
