I know! And it also pretty much confirms that we will be seeing Tink. We knew there were fairies but Tink has never been mentioned on screen.

Yep! All we’ve ever gotten about Tink is the lawn ornament in the pilot but that’s because they could use the Disney picture of her. We haven’t gotten a peep about her as an actual character except in theory so hopefully we’re 1 step closer to seeing her as a reality.

Hmmm. Interesting how different people read some of the answers. Maybe because I use that answer “great question” myself a lot, but then I pretty much mean: “right, might be interesting to think about it, but haven’t really done it yet, and I am not sure if I will find the time to do so in the near future. Sorry, it’s not high on my list of things to explore, but good that your asking.” So I don’t see anything confirmed here, not the slightest bit.

But don’t give up hope 😉

    ¯\_(?????? ?)_/¯

I suppose that’s true and a legit reading into Adam’s answer. But he often answers questions with “keep watching!” or “great question!” when he’s pointing to things that are too spoiler-y to give a straight answer to.

Yes, in this context, I think “Great question” implies that they don’t want to spoil something- it’s a tease! Otherwise, why not just say no if it’s not going to be important? When it’s something that isn’t being planned, he usually gives a “not this season but maybe in the future” or “hadn’t thought about that before- interesting idea” type response.

    From Wikipedia:

In fiction, canon is the conceptual material accepted as “official” in a fictional universe’s fan base. It is often contrasted with, or used as the basis for, works of fan fiction, which are considered to be non-canon. It is used in two slightly different meanings: ‘First, “it refers to the overall set of storylines, premises, settings, and characters offered by the source media text”. In this sense, canon is “the original work from which the fan fiction author borrows,” or “the original media on which the fan fictions are based.” Second, it is used “as a descriptor of specific incidents, relationships, or story arcs that take place within the overall canon”; thus certain incidents or relationships may be described as being canon or not. The alternative term mythology is often used, especially to refer either to a richly detailed fictional canon requiring a large degree of suspension of disbelief (e.g. an entire imaginary world and history), or to a central thread of storytelling running through a broad fictional canon that may episodically wander into many side plots with little connection to that thread.

The glossary we’ve created here at the site also has a useful definition for canon.

Well I don’t feel like the lone ranger on this term stuff, but everyone is so helpful explaining what the different words are especially RG. 😛
