The pic show Belle in a short dress / skirt … about the same length as her day clothes but because it is more dress up / evening look they say it is trashy looking. I have only seen some poor out of focus pics myself… so it is hard to say. Then again I am from the generation that invented HOT PANTS. SO trashy is in the eye of the beholder.

I agree, as I wrote on the other thread on the same topic. Granted this particular dress is very short, but she’s probably just feeling flirty. It’s entirely in keeping with Belle’s SB persona to wear short skirts. That’s all we’ve really seen her in.

It is the ALSO the response of a parent / NONNIE who wants to protect their kids from some of the nastier parts of life. Young children get exposed to too much before their time not to their benefit. I think a person has the right to decide what is allowed in their home. A person is entitled to standards and if turning Belle into a party girl is against their standard they have the right to say so and STOP supporting something they can not believe in.

I can see why she’s upset.It’s perfectly fine to stop supporting something if you think it’s getting out of line.It’s what we all should do if something’s not good.But by the same token,it is not polite to go and complain about something that hasn’t even aired yet!And I agree with whoever said Disney would not allow something like that.

Oh but I can too. What annoy me isn’t that she want to stop watching, don’t get me wrong. She do whatever she like (or not in that case ^^) No what is annoying me is peoples who go so far as tweeting about that idiotic rumors to Adam.
And maybe I was too harsh on my response to NONNIE but I really sensed it as an aggression.
What surprises me is that she was upset about Belle, but Capitan Hooks filty mouth doesn’t effect her. That is kinda of strange in my opinion.

as for that,I think that because Belle is such a pure character,it’s more shocking to see that she’s dressed like that(even if it’s not about what we initially think it is).With Hook,he’s a pirate.We expect him to talk like that.It’s still very upsetting,yes!But it doesn’t shock us as much.
