What if this is a flash back that shows when Henry first started to realize SB was cursed? Regina said she took him to Archie when he first started to realize right. in Season? I vaguely remember that.

Yes Henry’s been in therapy for quite some time before he went in search of Emma. But Regina didn’t know that Henry thought everyone was a storybook character. She is very surprised when Emma mentions it:

Emma: I’m sure he’s just saying that because of the fairy tale thing.

Regina: What fairy tale thing?

Emma: Oh, you know. His book. How he thinks everyone’s a cartoon character from it. Like his shrink is Jiminy Cricket.

Regina: I’m sorry. I really have no idea what you’re talking about.

So she put Henry in therapy for non-Curse related reasons.

They could cover Henry’s whole life in one flashback ep, starting with his adoption, show Regina doing the new mommy thing, and work forward through time until when he started seeing Archie, and then showing him getting the book. Get those flashbacks to when he was 8 or 9 outta the way before Jared has another growth spurt.

Agreed. They need to. I actually think your idea is really possible. (and now I really want the title for 309)

Purple is always flashback, but it’s only sometimes FTL flashback, because not all flashbacks are in FTL.

Yeah that. Which is why I think 309 is SB flashback of Regina’s adoption of Henry and then raising him.

I think this is where Regina starts taking him to Archie when Henry figures out that something is wrong with the town and perhaps we see how Snow gets the book to give to Henry in this episode. That is why I think Henry will be seen adopted in 3.03, which is a Regina episode and this will be the follow up.

Since it’s been confirmed that we will find out how Regina got baby Henry, I think we can all agree that will be the flashback of this episode. But I don’t think it will be Henry growing up, that’s not what they said. They said the story of how Henry came to be with Regina, not his life with her.
