Hannah I concur.
Also, I really think he had a great childhood with Regina until he got the book. He then started to identify her as the Evil Queen and not his mother.
[adrotate group="5"]September 21, 2013 at 1:14 am #211164PheeParticipantSince it’s been confirmed that we will find out how Regina got baby Henry, I think we can all agree that will be the flashback of this episode. But I don’t think it will be Henry growing up, that’s not what they said. They said the story of how Henry came to be with Regina, not his life with her.
Like I said though, if they ever intend to show the time in Henry’s life when he first got the book and started discovering the Curse, they need to shoot that stuff ASAP. Very soon Jared will not be able to pass for an 8, 9, 10 year old anymore, but they couldn’t cast someone else to play him at that age, because we’ve already seen the character at 10. I think Archie will probably be involved when Regina first adopts Henry, and she’s trying to adjust to being a parent, but then we’ll also see when Henry started going to see Archie.

I think he had a great childhood until he was old enough to notice that he was the only kid who was growing up. That’s something he’d have asked his mother about, and she’d have to dodge the questions because she didn’t want him knowing the truth, and that’s when their issues started. The book just compounded their issues, because it gave Henry an answer to his questions that his mother had refused to give to him.

Agreed. Also I really want to see that. I want to see Regina dodge those questions and have some doubt if the curse was good because of the way it’s affecting Henry.

September 24, 2013 at 11:57 am #211789RumplesGirlKeymasterSo that first line is Regina with Archie and then below is something about Rumple.
I’m not sure what they would use for Rumple of SB of the past. You would think Gold but who knows.

Top one could be a SB flashback, bottom one could be a FTL flashback.

That is what I think too, and perhaps this is where we see how Rumple plans to make Regina adopt Henry or adds to the curse that she adopts Henry some how.

rump didn’t have memories in SB so he had no knowledge of magic, the curse, or anything to manipulate Regina into doing anything. She asked for a baby and he just got her one.

I agree. Even though Rumple didn’t have his FTL memories, Mr. Gold was still in the black market of baby trafficking, sine he’d planned to take Ashley baby from her. That part of his FTL identity carried over to his fake SB identity, and Regina knew that. All Regina had to do was pay Mr. Gold a generous finder’s fee to procure her a baby, no legal strings attached. It’s hard to have a legal adoption in a down that doesn’t technically exist on the map. And for whatever reason, Regina didn’t want a cursed child like Grace. She wanted a child who could love her freely. I think that is what she realized when she met Owen, a boy who was free to choose one way or another to stay with her. Even though he chose not to (since she’d captured his dad and all), Regina realized that she didn’t just want an automaton of a child who’d only love her because of the curse.
