Has Once Upon A Time been renewed for season 3 yet?
If not yet, when should we know something?
[adrotate group="5"]March 28, 2013 at 12:38 pm #182767RumplesGirlKeymasterABC will announce probably May 14th ish or so. But according to every single media (newspapers, blogs, people who monitor this stuff) we’re getting a season three.
**EDIT**
I know there has been a lot of speculation because the numbers seem to have either stalled or gone down. In some regards that is true. Our live numbers aren’t where they were at the end of S1 or even the beginning of S2. But if you look at the live +7 we’re averaging 10 million viewers and getting at least a 3.0 ratings share (most of time it’s between a 3.0 and 3.3). We’re really strong with “key women” (between 18-45 age). I think that a really strong season finale and lots of summer promoting (including S2 being on Netflix) will help.
PPS: I have never been this obsessed with rating in my entire life.

The Networks look at the ratings by demographics usually it’s the 18-49 range and the live +7 also plays a factor.
I honestly don’t think we have anything to worry about. I think we will hear about a season 3 renewal probably just before the season finale or at the upfronts in May. I know that is when all the networks annouce their fall schedule of shows they introduce what has been renewed and what new shows they will be adding

March 29, 2013 at 11:47 am #183049RumplesGirlKeymasterThere is no doubt in my mind that we’re getting a S3 and probably a full order of 22 episodes. But we’ll have to see how S3 goes before S4 can be predicted. I’ve heard some say they would do a S4 even if S3’s #’s are great because that would put it into syndication, but like I said…S4 not for sure.

True, but let’s remember: this is not an official ABC site. Until ABC confirms it, we have to wait. Sites like this and tvbythenumbers.com and the like have been saying that OUaT will be renewed since January. They do it by the renewal/cancel index. Now, we all know that it’s pretty much a given that we are getting a S3, but until ABC or Adam tells us, reports like this are just speculation.

I said last year during the long summer hiatus that OUaT is the type of show that would benefit from summer re-runs. In the summertime people look for different shows to watch. I think they would get more fans if they showed the series as re runs. That technique worked since the beginning of TV… it would work for OUaT. I always use to find re run shows I liked during the summer and I often changed viewing habits based on that… of course that was the time before VCR, dvds, DVRs.

.April 1, 2013 at 1:32 am #183548RumplesGirlKeymasterThe series coming out on Netflix helped. As did promoting the DVD release and word of mouth. I think a lot of people are going to get back into once they can watch all of season 2 in one go because it does get complicated if you aren’t…well…us.
