So the Curse was cast as soon as Alice got back to Fictional London after her adventures with Cyrus and the Knave. She was then in the Aslyum for 28 years–frozen–and only unfroze when Emma came to town, hence the Doctor thinking that she’ only been in the Asylum for 1 year. Is that what you’re saying?

Having just watched the pilot, that makes the most sense to me.

    • Alice, as a little girl, went to WL (Wonderland) and returned to Fictional England (FE).
    • Alice repeatedly went back and forth between WL and FE.
    • At around 18-20, Alice met and fell in love with Cyrus. Cyrus fell and Alice went back to FE. Alice was then put in the asylum.
    • The Curse happened, freezing time in FE and WL.
    • 29 years later,  the day Emma breaks the Curse (in “Broken”), the Knave of Hearts fetches Alice in FE and they journey together to present-day WL. Besides the fact that WL has grown wild (according to the Cheshire Cat), WL remains in tact.

    I think that’s what we’re saying, yes.

Though I sorta think it’s a bit of a stretch if time froze in ALL the worlds, but everyone from ALL the worlds wasn’t taken to SB…but they have said that all the worlds were affected somehow, so maybe that’s it?

I believe the Curse affected all the lands. Correct? Also, I don’t remember where exactly in OUAT it was said, but I believe Regina only brought those people she wanted (e.g. Jefferson) to SB when she cast the Curse. That is why some people remain in present-day WL and in NL.

Specifically that line is from 205, The Doctor.

I was very confused at first but I’m very willing to take that the Curse hit when she got back to FE after her adventure with Cyrus.

I think most of this make sense.

I’ve just tweeted Adam asking whether time stood still in Alice’s England when the dark curse was cast.
