Wendy and Peter? I’ve seen Darling Pan and Pendy as their ship name on blogs. I’ve also seen beautiful edits with the both of them! Personally I ship (I’ve shipped?) them despite the show not yet showing any interaction between them.

I only wish to state I do not, by having mistakenly participated in it under the assumption it was simply a list with no classification, share those opinions (too much work for mods to delete previous posts so just writing this instead). Please carry on with your thread and enjoy.

November 4, 2013 at 1:05 pm #221062SlurpeezParticipantTLC = True Love/Romantic Relationship Canon
RC = Relationship Canon – any relationship between characters on Once Upon a Time, that is not romantic. Friendships, bromances, sister relationships, rivalries, frenemies…etc that have been shown to be canon. Characters interacted on screen in a non-romantic manner. I’m going to include present interactions.Emma & Neal (Swan Thief/SwanFire) Emma & Hook (Captain Swan)
Careful there, your CS bias is starting to show. 🙂 I’m not going to start a “ship war” here, and I think it’s totally fine for people to have their own opinions, but I just wish this thread came with a clear disclaimer on the first page stating that relationships are being judged subjectively.
In my estimation (and it’s just my opinion), the only way to know if two characters have true love is to have it confirmed on the show (e.g. Snow/Charming, Belle/Rumblle, Aurora/Philip, Emma/Henry). Also, two people can be romantically involved and still not have true love (e.g. Cora/Rumple, Dr. Whale/Mary Margaret). So, I think it’s misleading to label all romantic love as true love. Also, both CS and SF have had “canon” romantic moments, since Emma and Neal were romantically together in the past and now Emma and Hook have kissed. Yet, what remains to be determined is which couple, if either, has true love, not just romantic love.

November 4, 2013 at 1:21 pm #221064RumplesGirlKeymasterObisgirl this is your thread and you are free to do with it as you please and I will never interfere directly but I do wonder if there is a way to split the difference to ensure that the FORUM is happy (which is my goal in all things, guys).
I think the problem is that we need another code of classification and then people can make their own interpretations from there. This is what I am proposing.
Red should be True Love and True Love only. Only a few couples thus far have been shown to have true love, through the breaking of curses ect, and that is Rumbelle and Snowing plus Aurora/Philip and Cinderella/Thomas. These are our canon+endgame ships.
Blue should be relationships that are NON romantic, either in the past or in the present. So this would include Grumpy and Belle who are friends but NOT romantically linked. But this would NOT include Rumple and Cora because they had a romantic relationship.
Green could mean romantic relationship of the past and/or the present. This would include Rumple and Cora, for example, who had a romantic relationship of the past but are not true love. This color would apply to both CS and SF as it has not been shown on TV YET who Emma’s TL is, subjectivity aside. Just based on what has been on screen thus far. Also, SF had a romantic relationship of the past and are therefore more than just non-romantic relationship and CS has an official romantic relationship of the present.
Purple could be the rest: crack, AU, what have you.
Like I said, this is your thread and you’re free to do as you please but this was one suggestion in order to keep the forum happy.
"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"November 4, 2013 at 10:18 pm #221156obisgirlParticipantI’m actually very pissed off at the moment, mostly because I’m being accused of showing “bias” where this thread is concerned simply because I am a Captain Swan ‘shipper. I really resent this.
Secondly, this thread is not a fan service. The whole purpose of this thread is to keep everyone updated on all the ‘ships we have on Once Upon a Time/and OUAT in Wonderland.
I don’t want to start a debate here because that’s what the CSF thread is for but I’m going to say this, as far as True Love is concerned.
True Love, to me is true love when it is reciprocated by both parties who share it. This is not a new concept, guys. We’ve seen it within the show.
It’s why Belle was able to break Rumple’s curse and not Cora. It’s why Charming’s been able to save Snow a couple times in the Enchanted Forest. It’s a feeling that has to be reciprocated by both parties involved and that definitely includes whatever is happening in the present.
And right now, Emma does not have feel true love towards Neal. She even said in the last episode, that it would have been easier for her if Neal were dead because she really wants to move on with her life and find her own happiness. Neal, however, does not feel the same way Emma does. They both do not share the same feelings or goals, therefore, that is why I am not calling it true love.
For those who might be interested, I am actually writing a really long meta/essay/study thing on True Love and it explores different aspects of True Love.
I started it a bit after season 3 started and am continually editing and revising it as the season goes along, which I am also trying to keep “unbiased” because it’s a study of True Love. I won’t be finished with the whole thing until after season 3 ends and have plans to post it in parts because there’s never been a discussion on this forum regarding different & all aspects of True Love.
I am updating this thread according to what I see and observe on the show.
I’ll consider updating the color coding system, but make no mistake, this thread is not a fan service and I am not being “bias.”
November 4, 2013 at 10:26 pm #221161RumplesGirlKeymasterObisgirl, I apologize if my suggestions were taken as criticisms. That was not my intent. My intent, as always, is to keep the peace. Like I said both in my post and earlier in the chat, it’s your thread but I believe there was a misunderstanding about the intention once we went to color code. Do what you see fit. Again, I apologize if anything I said was taken amiss.
