Amara and Jafar’s plan, before he turned her into the snake staff (twisted!) is to find the three vessels that house the genies. Cyrus is the final bottle. And then they can break the laws of magic.
Is there more to Jafar’s own plan than he told Amara? Does it have to do with the Sultan, his father?

Which is pretty much like world domination but with magic.
But I’m hoping there’s more to it than that.
November 7, 2013 at 11:50 pm #222084TheWatcherParticipantI’m curious. Because I had lost my phone and stepped out of the room to search for I missed a few minutes of a Jafar/Amara scene. I wanted to know If it was specific genies they were after? Or the bottles/ lamps? Because if J-Dog just needs three genies, why go through all the trouble for Cyrus? He could just find another genie.

It’s times like these I wish I read Arabic, which is what I believe Amara’s book of spells was written in. I’m not sure what Amara’s aim was other than to be powerful, but I think Jafar’s plans have more to do with his mother than his father. I think he wants to bring his mother back to life have he lost her tragically at a young age.

I think it’s three specific genies, but I’m not sure why. One of the lamps looked like the lamp in Rumple’s shop, the one belonging to the Sydney Glass. Hmmmmm…. But I’m pretty sure Sydney is still in SB.

I like the idea that his ultimate goal involves bringing back his mother. But would she be proud of what her baby boy has become? Unlikely. Careful what you wish for, Jafar.

It is those three specific ones but I have no idea WHY those ones? Are they brothers? And you need the three brother genies to create this spell? And if Sydney isn’t one of the brothers then that is how this show gets out of not having Sydney on.

Were they just careless? Or is that actually supposed to be Sidney’s lamp? Did Jafar and Amara manage to steal the lamp and Sidney from SB somehow?November 8, 2013 at 8:11 am #222142obisgirlParticipantI like the idea that his ultimate goal involves bringing back his mother. I don’t remember that part. When was that?

Wow, yeah that needs explained. Unless all lamp genies have the same looking lamp.

Who knows maybe Sidney’s can still work his magic. … he’s just stuck in a magic mirror or stuck in Storybrooke now…. I don’t know Genies are different from other magic users…their special! Although I hope Regina doesn’t find out about all this. Although I’m surprised Rumpelstiltskin wouldn’t poke his nose in something this game changing. I mean two people are trying to change the laws of magic hello! Competition Villains get your game up, these people are trying to one up you. Anyway it could be possible it’s Sidney’s and when we see all three genies affected by Jafar’s evil spell will see Sidney cameo.
